This is semi-joke, but I was wondering about having some creative ideas. I lost a tooth yesterday and now I got to wonder, what to do with it. So I wonder about occult uses of my own tooth.

So what do you think, what magic I could do with it?

Well, if children it use for their version of money magic, why wouldn't adults do that? OK, the tooth fairy is something that adults keep alive because of exchanging money. But the energy is attached and accessible. And if you can offer it to a tooth fairy, you can offer it to other spirits too.... If it is a rotten one I would use it in a curse. (or the curious child in me would put it in the ground to watch how fasts it rots away, almost a kind of death magic)

His name is Rob?

But, Morell..

A vampire and a tooth. Come on. Use it as the tip of a wand or something?
I do have an idea myself, I consider making a pendant by putting it into resin with some other stuff. Could make it into a wand, though, that is interesting idea.

Now that you mention it, I could write down that when I loose canines, I could request artificial ones being little longer, to make that old person I'll be little predatory look. Lol!

You could combine that tooth with hair, nail cuttings, urine and blood, in a jar and bury it. Making a spell jar or witch jar that can have multiple purposes. I enjoy the concept of drawing all the negative to the jar instead of to you, but they can be used for many different things.

A friend of mine did actually have her canines replaced with vampire length teeth. I never had the courage to ask why exactly.

Cool. Though it depends also on the length, too long ones would make issues in the mouth.

I just had 3 teeth pulled last week, including a canine. Sorry I didn't ask to keep them, but I was out cold.

I'm well on my way to a set of false choppers, maybe I'll ask if I can have a set of uppers with fangs.

One set to eat, another for....

I jusy ignored it and she seemed relieved (I suppose everyone had been fussing about it ) . It wasnt until I said something and she said '' What did you say, I didnt hear that ?''

Me ; '' I am not surprised .'' < smirk >

Her ; '' ...... are you referring to my new ears ! ? ''

Me ; '' Errrrmmmmmm ..... ''

A tooth is an outgrowth of the jawbone. Its correspondences should be very similar.
Also, I believe shed teeth have the same associations with sortilege (magick and divination via lot-casting) that knucklebones do.

@Morell This is funny, I was going to post a similar thread but you beat me to it 😁 I'm having excess bone removed from my jawline in a few weeks - it's going to hurt like hell during the recovery, so I am adamant about having all of the extracted bone returned to me. My initial thoughts are to let the bone dry out, then grind it up, and use some of it as an anchor on my altar. I am also considering putting some into a lockett as a strength, courage, grounding and healing amulet. To be determined...

Hermetika, you could also mix the ground bone with clay and sculpt amulets, for workings intended to be very powerfully connected to you, yourself.
For protection or health, for example.
You could put tincts of appropriate minerals and herbs in the glaze.
This would be for amulets intended to be longterm or semi-permanent.
You could also use it in warding amulets and witchbottles to protect your home or ritual space.
