I'm drawn to Norse Paganism. I don't have a rational explanation for it but I just am and I have been for years despite my limited knowledge.
At what point do you transition from the myths to magick and what are some fundamentals for magick from a Norse perspective?
As far as magick, what Robert said, yesterday.
You also mention paganism. These are not the same. Paganism and Magick are adjacent, not synonymous. You can start working runes today, but the Norse god's are another thing entirely. I know them a fair bit, and I can't recommend them for beginners at all. Nor for intermediate practioners. I would only recommend working with them for very advanced practioners. They are dangerous, they are treacherous, they are deceitful, they are judgmental and cruel and arrogant. Maybe they will take a liking to you, but they will probably be their usual selves. If they don't perceive you as an equal, nothing productive for you is going to come of the relationship, you'll just be a source of offerings. At best. A source of entertainment is also possible.
They are harder to work with productively than qliphothic demons, who are also usually more trouble than they are worth.
In other words, they're only really useful once you no longer need them, in which case they aren't useful.
But start practicing magick today, it's the key to the universe.
