This month here where I live we are having fog almost daily. It is really unusual thing here for a fog to last more than two, three days, but now it's maybe three weeks and still counting. I'm starting to wonder about if it isn't a sign of some kind. What do you think that could be the nature and the gods telling us here?

In the first book about the fae I bought, the fog was used to cross between realms in active meditations. And when I myself crossed into fae/elven/whatever realm, the fog was definitely used. (I imagined nothing, that time, I was just meditating in the forest)

What could be going on?

Joke: Please, don't say that it's the rapture. :ROFLMAO:

This means that someone is casting a protection spell on you. For magicians, fog signifies a veil, possibly oblivion, or stealth, invisibility, or secrecy.
I myself have often found myself in fogs, the sensations are strong. That is, this is one of the elements of earth. It is capable of transporting us to another place, from one place to another or vice versa. It brings us something from somewhere through the fog. Then, apparently, some great spirit - manu - wants the holiday to happen and sends us snow and fog to recreate the fairy tale for Christmas and New Year...

I do love me a good fog, especially the early morning before it's fully light. Churchyards are great.

I went through a rough patch with brain fog last year, that wasn't so nice. I could literally see the mists on the edge of my vision. It was a bit like when Frodo started slipping into the wraith world. Entropy starting to eat away at the fringes of my world.

One of the interesting things I've found with fog is that, just like most things requiring exteroception, if the clarity of sight is disrupted, like used in Ganzfeld studies, there are parts of our 'other' sensory systems that can sometimes reach out to try and compensate. The float tank, sensory deprivation tank, or isolation tank does this as well. Some people are so locked in, blocked in, with filters on full blast that they notice nothing. But if you can let that portion of your extra-sensory systems reach out, you have Psi experiences. Testing shows Ganzfeld is quite often very effective.
So, depending on how 'stuck' or 'unstuck' you are, fog and ping pong halves over the eyes can have a similar effect, which is that you tend to reach out with extra-sensory systems when the standard system is offline or disrupted.
As far as weather is concerned, it is fun to imagine it is supernatural when it sticks around for so long, but I have experienced that and more in nature and the only magic happening was my own perception being altered, and thus, that part of me that engages with the supernatural was active and functional, and what then happens can depend on many things about you and your filters, or your connections.
So, in my world, real fog is real fog, but the effects on the person and that person's abilities can turn supernatural, and thus you may experience something else in that fog that isn't real fog.
I find a good measure is time. Some of these shifts will cause major shifts, like standing there in the fog with a hot burrito at 11 pm, and suddenly the sun is coming up and it is 7 am, but your burrito is still hot. Don't even try to fathom that with your brain, it just shuts down on you because we are so linear. I have heard many times that the reason other realms are so difficult and hidden is the time difference, so beware of the Rip Van Winkle moments.
