Would any large scale, organized, persistent attempts to disrupt an individual count as a curse? lots of time, money, resources, over a period of many years? say for example the Cointelpro like operations of the FBI against black panthers; spreading lies and rumors, constant surveillance, money spent, people pressured, all that stuff.... could that energy all take on a form of its own in some way?? im starting to get the impression thats essentially what the processing of casting a curse or hex goes... its about the intentional focus of energy towards a target with malice... is this right??

If so, how does one return to sender haha

Briefly, this is how I understand it: There are 2 types of curses. 1 involves invoking the forces of strict justice and directing them at the target. Maybe think of it like "tattle-tailing". The dark forces are summoned and directed at the target: "so and so is a sinner". The other type of curse is more subtle. The caster introduces a sort of thought-virus into the target's psyche. Then the individual defeats themself.

Yes. I would call this conjuring, not cursing. Cursing is a religious concept. This is closer to alchemy. IMO.

If so, how does one return to sender haha

i dont really know why im asking, i know the answer when i ask myself that question. deep inside theres a resounding yes when i ask if theres something blocking or feeding off me... its only last summer (!!!!!!!! wild) since i made the concious "call out" to apollo, who showed me just how deeply we were already familiar , and that was my first real acceptance of som ekind of OTHER entity that i could put some kind of mental map of...

it was a new level of faith, i suppose. of course, having known something, but not wanting to let go of the something, was up in the universe.

now its like... fuckin anything goes at this point, but its scary thinking i could have one of the bad kind of curses lol.... what is this shit

No; it's like eating. Imagine these large scale forms possessed of energy, organization, and human malice as large unrelenting predators. They will feed according to their own nature. In this case it is ensure domination or destroy those who cannot be dominated. To keep the system running. Human lives are currency. Subversive ideas, resistance, revolution, etc. These are their prey, their bread and butter. Anything just crying out for them to take control, to respond. The best method of keeping out of their jaws is to keep out of their sight and smell, to be uninteresting prey.

That's one way to do it. Send a strong enough breeze, and you might set them off balance or topple them. But some work more like a disease, infecting the form and spreading. Corrupting them from the inside. There are more methods, of course. But the idea is to destroy or disrupt the form, even by leveraging its own 'weight' against it. It's easier or harder depending on the 'energetic density' of the form and the skill of both the operator and the operated, plus the method(s) chosen.

I mean, yeah, the energy expended from the FBI to cast a ritual of "send a letter to MLK telling him to kill himself" manifests the result of MLK getting a letter encouraging suicide. It's a curse in the sense that you're doing something to get a nasty result for the target, but I don't think it becomes a capital-C Curse the same way as if you wrote that letter and buried it in a graveyard under the help of Mars. For one, the intent isn't to cause metaphysical harm. I'm not of the opinion that intent is everything, but it is certainly a guide for the raw forces invoked.

"Return to sender" then depends on your intent of what exactly you mean to send back; traditional methods might work if you feel like there is actual witchcraft being worked against you, or to offset any harm those mundane "curses" caused. IMO, magic doesn't create or destroy anything as much as it does make targets more or less suited to be affected by forces around them. I'm skeptical about being able to "return to sender" entire covert ops, but sorcery can be just one more tool in your arsenal to compliment a physical world-focused solution to address those physical world-focused problems.

I vaguely remember a book titled "Hex Your Boss, Curse the State" that might help the line of thinking you're going down, but it's been a long time since I've read it so no garuntee on its quality.

Each and everyone is the master of their own domain. Curses of all sorts can be rendered inert rather easily. That's not the problem. The problem is relapse. Many like to blame their disappointments on this-and-that. If they blame a curse or a demon, the curse or demon is granted consent to interfere in the individual's life and psyche, because, blaming is highly rewarding. It's a loophole. Implied consent.

As a practical matter, adopting a strong sense of personal responsibility for the outcome of one's choices helps prohibit interference from outside influences.
