Barrett's The Magus (volumes I and II; unless you have like I once had a full single volume copy)

As a Neophyte and Zelator, both Agrippa and Barrett fascinate me. However I understand virtually none of it, especially philosophy (not a strong suit of mine).
So, as a Zelator, besides Geomancy and alchemy, what should I be looking for in Barrett (as if you're reading along in your current grade)?
