I've heard some practices that saints are also being used in black magick (e.g. cursing someone under the saint's name), is it the same as conjuring a demon and commanding them? Are they ... that commandable or easiest to conjure like demons?

"Commanding demons" is a quite dubious approach used among a very prolific modern followers of abrahamic-based teachings.

During colonization, a lot of nations had to hide the Forces, which were helping those nations, under the guise of abrahamic saints. Later on, the meaning of original Forces behind the saints was lost, and all of it eroded into another pillar, which supports abrahamic teachings and which has a rather negative effect on spiritual advancement.

However would it be, Forces, be they Terrestrial, Celestial or Infernal, don't like to be approached in utilitarian manner. They might help some representative of consumer society a couple of times, but just so those consumers would stop bothering them, the same way as some people deal with especially annoying beggars. It definitely blocks the ways for growth.

Eventually you will realize that mundane goals (for which people usually bother various entities) are mostly meaningless, but you might have lost Friends in High Places to help you with something much bigger.

The saint work is extremely potent, can be used for all kinds of things. Strangest of the strangest, you must know how to ask though. Requests have to be carefully worded. They must be simple, precise, accurate. General requests, more precise ones.

I do saint work through churches, also at home. Most of the time in Orthodox churches.
The requests which get fulfilled there often make me wonder who or what on earth are behind those saints?
Now I asked some people and they told me that the material requests get carried out by lower spirits who are under them. Only the pure spiritual requests reach the top, everything else gets fulfilled by something lower.

Now I don't exactly deal with attacks or curses, but I noticed something.
When you do a lot of saint work and get insanely loaded with the energy and aren't able to handle it all. The energy stacks beyond, to a point of being ultra boosted. In this state you may lose control over yourself and when you get mad at somebody, your hate fueled wishes by the energy causes problems to others. I noticed it myself, at first I could not understand it. got mad at some people and they took a hit. I had a lot of trouble controlling the energies for a long time. The psalm work and hesychasm, which I do, turn it all into a nuclear energy cocktail.

Energy + intention + point of focus (+ your connection, other factors) = result

I've heard that in some countries like Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the witches (babkas) do odd and nasty acts with the saint work. They also combine it with demons, both at once. Using up the minus and plus energies in the church for their acts. People take their miseries and pain to churches and they use up all that.

The saint work can be used for curses and dark acts, definitely, but should it? Oh well up to the practitioner I suppose.

Oh I forgot to add. You said "commandable or easy to work with". They are kind of easy to work with yes. Especially when done in the churches. The more you do it, the better it all works. You learn a thing and two-three over time and get more connected. Then it's even easier to do it.
The saint work goes better when you are baptized in the tradition from where the saint is from. I did it a lot before getting baptized but after the baptism the boosting effect came in, much stronger.
