And I'm mad about it. So imma vent and rant
She got a beta fish for the class but did no research first on the animal. Beta fish are supposed to have 5 gallon tanks at minimum but she got the fish 2.5 gallons. I offered to buy a bigger tank she said no and refused to hear me out. She kept saying PetSmart told her it was fine but PetSmart is known for abusive practices regarding animals and is more about profit than care for them. They sell fish bowls for example and everyone who does research on an animal before getting knows that'll kill a fish. I tried talking about it but she kept saying if the fish dies we will get another like this is some kind of toy not a living animal I don't want abused and neglected.
She told the other boss i have(who isn't happy about the situation I hope she talks it out) that she's not going to care for it but she'll let my two coworkers in that building do so. I don't know much about beta fish but one them does and cares a lot about fish she agrees with me that tank is too small. It's like so you decided to get an animal for the kids did no research and when called out for not providing properly for the fish both by me and the one who actually owns fish and you won't care for it or even let either of us buy a proper tank.
This is a living animal. Not some toy you use to teach kids responsibility an actual life that needs to be cared for. I just am annoyed by this.
