Got a really odd path which I haven't read from anywhere before and that is my shamanic path being interwoven with Christianity and Jesus Christ. It's like I got an eternal burden on my physical body which only the spirits can make easier. It's a burden that is gloomy and I can't do anything for it before I'm through the shamanistical initiation. To many this might look like masochism but it's something of Christianity. Anyone heard of Christian shamanism before?

So I find it not odd that I'm into golden dawn and Christian magick like that. I just know that I love Jesus Christ very much :)

Are you familiar with Jakob Boehme?
If not, I think you might really appreciate him.

Interesting path. Glad you told us, friend.

It is no problem at all. If it goes well for you, well, continue on this path.

Also, just so you know, there are many other things to be discovered as well in the field of Christo-Paganism. 😉

This is a first for me, but then one could fill an encyclopedia with what I don't know. If it works for you, run with it.

I am reminded of a Swedenborgian missionary who said he had a highly favorable reception among traditionalist Africans some decades back. They said he was the only white man they had met who believed in "such an obvious truth" as the ubiquity of spirits around us. That said, Swedenborg makes for slow-going. Stalking Hyena's Jakob Boehme is rather more readable.

Wow!!! Christian Shamanism? Sounds fantastic. Go with whatever you feel comfortable with. Also, may I add, that I think you should seek Jesus in the Spiritual World. Have you? As far as I know, when I think of Shamanism, I think about Astral Projection and communicating with Spirits. Try to contact Jesus on our Journey. 😃

How does He look like? Because my own version of Jesus is white man with black beard and long hair up to His Shoulder and wears a garment.
It's more of a phantom appearance so I don't make out the details of him. But the voice when talking is really clear. It's not located in the head like trauma voices or schizo voices, but comes from outside. He usually have encouraging things to say. Mostly I'm talking in silence to him.

Never heard of this, but I don't see any problem with it. Faiths change and intermingle all the time, life is change, not only for biological beings.

I think that it might be awesome to see what you will come up with with building your own system. You might one day write a book about it.

Actually, I see all kinds of problems. Which is why great books get written: ironing out those problems. Look at the Summa Theologica, trying to reconcile Aristotle and Christianity. So, yeah. See where this path leads and what hurdles need to be cleared.

An old interesting post.

I haven't really heard much about it but some people successfully can mix all kinds of paths and practices together. That's what I like to do too. The core practices and some side ones, along with new ones, experiments.

Christian shamanism, let me think... I think I've heard about this in some podcast that was on youtube somewhere in the Russian language. I had somebody translate the whole thing for me, we were watching it a couple of years ago. Possibly either in siberia or Kazakhstan, somebody doing exactly the same thing. It's fairly uncommon but there are definitely those who do the same thing. Fairly uncommon but interesting combination.

There is a book on Amazon, which I bought a while ago, called 'Spirit Possession and the Origins of Christianity,' by Stevan Davis, which might be of some interest to you and your concept of Chistian Shamanism. If by "shamanism" you mean the standard definition of a person who enters trance and experiences spirit possession (qv Michael Harner et al).

There is some "compelling" documentation / evidence that Jesus was a Sorcerer / Magician / Wizard, et al, trained in Egypt.
Now this is Not Specifically Shamanism, however during that time frame and region, with heavy Spirit trafficking, it is Real Close.
Aside from whatever else is available in the forums and around the net on this topic, I posted some of my own sideline research, here:

Some interesting links concerning Jesus

Check it out and see if any of this "resonates" with You! (y)

Yeah heard that before. And yes I do think Jesus was a Sorceror or wizard. I even got learnt by Jesus spirit all of his magick that he did. It's very efficient healing magick. Except the turn water into wine that I didn't get :)

Yeheshua is YHShVH which is the foundation of the pentagram. Yehovashah is YHVShV which is the union of the female and male. So very potent formulaes these.

Hmm... So why couldn't someone be a Luciferian Christian? That idea seems very appealing to me - Left Hand Path Christ! Has anyone thought along those lines?
Bro, you just said something that clicked. It's true. Luciferianism it's also Christianity. Cuz the Lucifer Character came from Christianity.

It was called the Process Church of the Final Judgment. Or just the Process Church. They were around in the 70s. They taught that Lucifer and Jesus were the same God.
