I’m bored (I hate waiting) and I don’t think this is against any rules so let’s see if anyone is interested. Not looking for much time spent on it. But as an experiment of curiosity, what do you guys think? The results are a bit different than I have been getting for quite a while. I had nothing to do with the original 6c or the poker chips pattern.

Few days ago one card got overturned: 6 cups. When that happens I often leave it on my desk upturned for a few days to consider it.

Then 7 poker chips ended up in A hexagram pattern with the unique one in the up position. So I placed them on my desk to consider.

After a couple of days I decided to do a reading based on the layout to flesh out the 6 cups. Think Tarot with two decks but with the major arcana removed.

Downward card for foundation: 7 pentacles.

Left lower card for the situation: 5 pentacles.

Right lower card to provide additional info on the 5P: 4 wands.

Center card for me: King swords.

Upper left for actions needed: 8 wands.

Upper right to provide additional info on 8w: Queen wands.

Top card for what’s to come (in the place of the unique shiny chip): 10 swords.

If not against the rules and if anyone is interested, I’ll post my reading on this thread in couple of days.

If against the rules, my apologies.

I attempted a bibliomancy reading after and received “there is no matter hid from the king”. Continuation of a theme is always an interesting sign.

For a good reading, it's always important to know the context of the situation—and I’d also love to know which deck you're using. That matters just as much.
Here’s how I see your spread:
The Six of Cups points to nostalgia or thinking a lot about something from the past. The hexagram pattern just reinforces that this situation still holds weight for you, and you're not done processing it. The King of Swords represents you—logical, calculating, always relying on reason. Maybe even pushing your emotions aside on purpose.
At the core of this reading, it feels like you're reflecting on something, but in a way that’s more frustrating than productive—maybe it feels like your efforts were wasted or things didn’t turn out how you hoped. The Five of Pentacles supports that, showing a situation that’s dragging on and draining your energy. But then there’s the Four of Wands, which suggests there is some kind of result, and honestly, it’s not a bad one. The question is—why does it still feel unsatisfying?
As for what to do next, both cards in that position are screaming, get moving! Take action, don’t overthink, just do. The extra card suggests you have everything you need to succeed, or maybe there’s a strong, confident woman who can support you.
The Ten of Swords in the future position doesn’t mean disaster—it’s more like closing a chapter and stepping into something completely new. It’s a shift, a fresh start, just not in the way you originally expected.
Like I said at the beginning, I need to understand the situation fully to give a proper interpretation. I also prefer to do my own reading using a deck that fits the context—each situation resonates differently with different decks.

Well done!

Divination has never been my particular talent but I can muscle thru it pretty good when needed. But you nailed it even without context, as good as I did with context.

Deck: Rider x2, major arcana removed.

Context: We (wife, kids, and I) have been in a good place of relative peace and quiet for several years now. Just moved to a large old house in the middle of almost nowhere. But everything could change quickly. I’m not particularly worried, small chance of a downside, but most likely our situation will either remain relatively unchanged or there could be an opportunity for improvement. But as people do, stability brings boredom and time to reflect and I have allowed myself to wallow in a little too much nostalgia for far too long now thinking about things we could have done a little differently.

I want to tell you one more important detail))))) Cards don't like to go round and round the same situation. If you ask the same question several times in a short period of time and when you get a hint from the cards and don't use it, be prepared that the cards will start joking with you.
