Hey everyone, I am a Traditional Folk Witch and a Cunning person. I have been studying Witchcraft and magic for 21-22 years. My Religion is Pagan. I also maintain a deep connection with the folk Catholicism/Christianity of my Italian-American and Appalachian heritages. I grew up with folk magic on both my mother's and father's side. My Nonna on my maternal side could diagnose and remove the Malocchio (evil eye) and read cards; she was also quite the seer. Similar to my mom's side, my father's family had a history of Herb doctors, wart charms, water witching, Animism, and seers. Family legend says we had a witch in the family who put fear into the town folk. She allegedly blinded an old pharmacy owner with Witchcraft for talking back to her. I don't know if that is true, but the woman did exist. She was my Great Great Grandmother i think ( i suck at Genealogy), but anyway. Glad to be here, hope you found some of my witchy family history interesting. I do want to add that this is not a claim at some ancient family line of witchcraft, lol, it was just what you did in these old cultures that remembered even a little of the old cunning ways. i am pretty quiet, but ill try to interact when i have the spoons to do so.
