And guess who has all the money? My racist, a-hole dad. Love this beautiful society we live in. My mom doesn't even qualify for Legal Aid even though the abuse lasted OVER THIRTY YEARS and has ESCALATED TO ELDER ABUSE.

Although I am jobless, I do not even qualify for SNAP. This is extremely ridiculous.

Note: I am doing the mundane work but everything feels so SLOW and like there's no real help? I just want a miracle or at least some income or something! UGH Poor people are treated like trash in the US and I HATE IT. Victims of gender violence are treated like trash and I'm sick of it. I don't even want to deal with health insurance because that's another mess. The system is broken.

But it also depends on where you live, here in Europe one can earn a lot even without education.

Look, yeah, your situation sucks. No way around that. But you’re not crazy for being pissed off, and you’re definitely not wrong about how brutal this system is. That said, here’s a truth a lot of folks don’t admit out loud:

This is why most people come to magick in the first place.

Survival. Money. Escape. A shot at power. Sex, security, influence. A warm place to sleep. People might dress it up with mystery-school words or aesthetics, but under the hood? It's often the same thing: I’m hurting and I need a way out. Don’t feel bad about that. You’re not alone in that. You’re not wrong for wanting something to shift.

That said, and don’t shoot the messenger, the first thing you’ll need isn’t a sigil or a chant. It’s your own footing. If you don’t find your center, every effort you make will bleed stress, panic, and desperation into the working, and that doesn’t help you, your mom, or anyone. Meditation can help, but its not the only way to find your center, but definitely worth a try as you continue to work towards solutions here.

Once you’ve got even a thread of calm to hang onto, magick can help. If you’re open to the Goetic route, you might want to look into Clauneck, Mammon, or Duke Bune. Not because they’re genie wish-granters, but because they deal with money, influence, and movement.

I’m not a spellcaster, and I don’t speak for anyone here, but I know there are folks who would gladly share practical rituals, things to get food, keep the phone on, maybe even shift your housing situation.

You don’t need a lecture. You need ground under your feet. Then tools. Then steps.

The #1 key to stable income is conformity. Are you "weird" to people in your area? If so, stop that. Look, act, talk, and think like the other stooges, and they'll welcome you as one of them. A shitty job you hate will pay you fifty times as well as any creative project you can conceive.

That said, the way to get a job in the US has become more like Communist countries. You have to know someone. If you go out and do spells for income opportunities and stable financial growth, you will still have to hack open the doors when they appear. The easiest way to get a decent job now is to know someone and have them usher you into a vacant position. So forget the money magic and break out some love spells. Find people who get along with you and work alongside them, and you'll be happier than if you just blindly accept your name tag and a scratchy shirt from a slave lord.

My advice: First offer blessings on behalf of the Angels that are helping you, currently... It's the shortest path between where you are now and getting the help you're asking for.

Your friend? The one who is helping you? To a degree, is an "Angel", not a perfect Angel of course, but, this individual is part of a divine flow, chain-of-causes, which is manifesting as their assistance. The source of this manifestation? That's the target for your petition. And. As it is below, so it is above. Blessing the friend, corresponds to blessing the one which is manifesting it.

You can find this principle reflected , pun intended, in Proverbs, 27:19. But even more simply stated: "what goes around, comes around". How you bless this friend, of course, will depend on many factors, but, I hope this helps a little.

I'm going to echo the sentiment of FireBorn because too many times in these spaces we pussyfoot around the real answer to protect peoples feelings. And people in your situation do not like to hear it but those of us that have found success with magic will all tell you the same exact thing and its up to you to accept the advice/help or reject it and keep perpetuating the cycle.

Real change for your situation starts from the inside. The language you are using is the language of a victim. Every single one of us have suffered in situations that were unfair, we have all been victimized by people, places, and things. But you are going to notice amongst adepts and people who have utilized magic to put themselves in positions of prosperity and success that they do not use the type of language you do. They do not list off all the ways the world has harmed them, they do not make themselves victims of circumstance, and its because they believe in magic. They believe in their own authority, their ability to change the world around them, and they reframe their struggles as valuable lessons, ignition for transformation, and necessary ends for new beginnings.

Now I am glad you and your mother have escaped a violent situation, and I am sorry you are in pain. However the "I can't", "I won't", "The world is against me" type of mentality is why your magic is not working. You have assigned yourself as a victim, as defeated, and as unwilling to receive an easier, more rewarding, and fulfilling life. You do a spell for money then you better put yourself in some situations where you can get paid, you do a spell for an apartment then you better be hitting the streets looking putting in rental applications, you want a job to be able to afford all these things then you need to be listening to your guides on what steps need to be taken in order to make yourself employable.

Magic starts with action. Before any feelings, ideas, and especially before any manifestation. It is why we do ritual. Ritual is the action we take before we receive contact with the spirits, before we trigger the required gnosis, and before any spell manifests materially. When you say you cant, wont, or the world is out to get you you have firmly made the decision not to take action, and therefore you have blocked any possibility you have for your spell to work and give you the things you want.

Get on disability. Go to a shrink, tell them you believe you can utilize the powers of spirits and your energetic fields to influence the world around you and that you can't interact with normal people, and they'll put you on lickety-split. You'll at least be able to get food stamps, Medicaid/Medicare, and SSI.

If you have slightly too much pride for that, figure out how to turn selling random shit or your own artwork on the internet into a business. You get self-employment credits with the gov for that and you can get EBT, Medicaid, and potentially other assistance depending on income and assets so long as you can prove it's an actual business and not just bullshit. All you have to do is make at least federal minimum wage at part time hours, which is not hard if you have the slightest amount of business acumen. If your mom is disabled, figure out how to become her official caretaker and the gov will pay you to stay at home and eat Dorito's while you watch YouTu-I mean, help out your family. There's all sorts of ways to make it work that don't require getting a square job and you can stay out of the more obnoxious parts of the system.

Or, you can devote yourself to angelic magick and just see what happens. Demons ain't shit compared to the manifested intelligences of God, and they sure as hell aren't looking to help you get ahead.
