I'm a 33 years old french guy.

Lately life has been very tough. It's hard finding a job. I'm torn by trying to find a vocation, a job to survive or try more experiences to discover new things.

I found an ok job at a local beer brewery but my boss asked me to leave after 4 days cause "i'm too slow".

I feel lost, depressed... I try to do sport but that doesn't help that much. I'm losing the job of living.

Even magick doesn't seem to help. I try hard to contact my ancestors to have guidance but i don't know if its a failure or if i can't read the signs.

Sorry to hear. This is an obvious comment, but in jobs anything is better than nothing. In the meantime try any money magick you can find. Maybe try this:
Eventually it brought me a nice position.

I would try to concentrate on a diet that is as complex as you can do it. Eat something different for every meal. Tends to heal mental illness and gives more alertness and concentration.

Well, life in France is depressing tbh.

Sport can help with hormonal balance, I would not except more from it. (Although being fit fells good)
St john's worth oil (millepertuis in french) is a known antidepressant.
I'm not well versed into money magick but it's definitly worth a try.

This is a practice I do based on personal research and try it if you're curious about novel approaches...

Cup your hands together as if someone were about to pour water into them. This universal gesture of receiving symbolizes receptivity. As you hold your hands in this position, think of a goal or want and imagine it suspended in a globe swirling with yin and yang energy.
Imagine/feel energy gathering, intensifying, and perhaps tangible. When it feels appropriate to release this energy easing its manifestation, separate your hands. Turn your palms facing down so that your thumbs face each other, allowing the energy to drop toward the earth, and the material realm, and aid the realization of your goal.

Context/Theory:
The sensory/motor homunculus, developed in the mid-20th century, demonstrates hands occupy more space in the brain's sensory and motor cortex than other body parts. This suggests their primary importance in both physical and gestural.

Before neurological surgical studies, in western palmistry, the hands were/are believed to channel life energy and self-awareness that flows from the active side and moves to the passive side. The active (or solar) side of the hand includes the thumb (will, knowledge), index finger (Jupiter), and middle finger (Saturn). This triad represents the self exerting itself on to the greater world. A wand is naturally held so it extends outward for casting, a sword is held at its hilt pointing forward toward an opponent, or how a chalice is held upright.

The rest of the hand is considered passive or lunar. Emotions on the palm flow up from the percussive side of the palm (passive) up towards either/or the Mts of Jupiter and Saturn.

I'm torn by trying to find a vocation, a job to survive or try more experiences to discover new things
If you are afraid for your current survival, seek a job first. After you get more economically stable you can try to figure out the other stuff.
Or you can seek some hobbies that seem interesting to you(and not too expensive) and see if they may give you the other two.

I try to do sport but that doesn't help that much
If you don't mind me asking, which sport do you practice? In a rut, still doing a physical activity may sometimes be the one thing helping you not fall to despair(inaction is so much worse since it gives you time to think the worst and slowly get your mind poisoned by yourself, exercising a least keeps you busy and tired enough to not think that much).
It may even be the means to help you develop a healthier mindset if you can stick with it.

I feel lost, depressed
I feel like this has been the mode for many people ever since COVID.Somehow, somewhere, we took a wrong turn and ended up lost.
And not many seem able to find or figure out their own way towards something.
It is a battle sometimes to not fall for the inherent nihilism in society.

Do you know your Varna/ Dharma? Try figuring this out and it will give you a good direction to go.

I can also recommend you the Bhagavad-Gita. There are free pdfs on it on the web.

And I think the Indian embassy even sends you a hardcover version for free if you ask them.

It helped me a lot. And made me see life more holistically.

"i'm too slow"

I'm curious, based on this comment and the other thread referring to the "necessities" of magic:

Do you know how to get yourself "fired up?", how to, metaphorically, ignite the "fire" under your "crucible" in your heart? If not, I recommend doing some work to discover this about yourself. Knowing this about yourself will help in all facets of your life.

You aren't a 33 year old french guy, you are a brilliant, luminous being untouched by age, race, or region. No job or vocation - no matter how philanthropic - could ever give you meaning. A job is a rote series of neurons firing in your brain that's expressed as actions completing tasks so that you might aquire money, an intangible currency, that you can use to sedate yourself with popular culture, excitement with friends, and indulgence in saturated fats. Tasks, indulgences, and pleasures don't have meaning, beings do.

It sounds like you're on track for a good old fashioned existential crisis. Its in the dark night of the Soul that spiritual texts really come to life.

My advice is to toss everything, drop everything & everyone in your life for a bit, forget all that you believe in or dream about. Go right to the silent source of your experience, immerse yourself in nature, and just sit, regularly and for a while.

You need a job to survive, but don't take survival so seriously, death is awesome and inevitable, fighting and stressing to prevent it will just expedite it with ulcers & cancer from your agita. Life will run a lot more smoothly the less you care about it and it's outcomes. The things that cause you suffering are illusory, and the suffering itself is illusory, but hearing that truth and realizing it directly are two different things.

There are a lot of texts that touch on this problem of meaninglessness, like existential texts, but real soul can be found in spiritual texts during times of crisis. People have suggested the Baghivad Gita and I second that. Also the Buddhist Sutras, Upsnishads, and even some Zen stuff.

Ultimately you need to go inward to find meaning in your life, and more importantly you need to do it on your own.
