The superficial definition is power(as lightning always was seen as some sort of divine representation due to it coming from the sky, and lightnings are powerful phenomenonso n their own), later it became more akin to impermanence(due to lightning being a quick event and power being something that can be fickle to have), nowadays it's more about perception.

I think I spoke about a short experience I had in my profile posts that had me feel like lightning or something, and that experience made me feel like my perception changed.

To be honest though, I think the lightning represents it all.
Power, impermanence and perception.

Though to dissect it further and find out more about it will take time as I know that symbols usually are the easiest ways to convey deeper meanings, so I could spend my whole life trying to understand even just this one.
