yo im new here, dont know about anything but my gut tells me this is important for me to know, so happy that i found this place.

actually i just watched a video on youtube about astral projection and tried it for the first time without any knowledge, my body started vibrating intensely and my heart rate shot up. I thought i was gonna die, i imagined pulling myself out of my body with a rope which further intensified the vibrations but i unfortunately couldn't leave my body.

Related to your question, astral projection can't reliably be used to observe other people. The astral plane isn't just the regular 3D world where you get to be a temporary ghost, it's sort of like the underlying data layer of the 3D world. It doesn't look or feel the same, and you may not even encounter humans in a form which makes sense to you.
