Meditation in situations where it's hard to concentrate is very beneficial for improving your ability to focus. I used to meditate in public places where there was a lot going on to improve my ability to drop into a meditative state. I also toyed around with maintaining a meditative state throughout my day for a while.

I have a mobile backyard pool and on hot days I take advantage and use the pool as a portal. It is round and quite big so in 3 points I hang 3 bags with various stones and place them to form a triangle. When at the base of the triangle I meditate for specific stuff, more masculine energy, when I move towards the tip, more feminine energy. In the center I meditate the most and my last meditation was quite interesting as I connected with a collective consciousness that named themselves Tuhunukat.

Sometimes I'll make hot days their own challenge and take walks on them. I don't have any issues as long as I'm properly hydrated.

Yes, I can meditate anywhere. If I feel uncomfortable, I find that opportunity to hone my focus skill. I encourage my brain to prioritize focus over uncomfortable.

I would have to meditate without regard to the weather condition. This got me used to all conditions and states of being, including very hot weather, which used to be a little bit...difficult to think in anyway. Although forcing this practice has helped me focus inwardly in mild or great heat (practicing this tradition, right this moment - as a matter of fact). It just takes focus and practice.

Here is a simple tip, but it works only in privacy:
If it is hot, just remove some clothes you wear. All, if needed. Meditating in underwear is still meditating. Cooling by fan or water is unfortunately distracting.
Good thing is, that during summer when I get into meditating in heat, when it works, my body drops in temperature. During summer welcomed effect unlike in colder conditions.

i dont meditate, instead i invoke myself and get the same effect of improving my awareness.
Its the ability to entirely feel everything around you that matters more than your own comfort or meditative position.

:) we might have other terms for meditative states but you do meditate, but feel free to call it whatever feels comfortable to you.

Meditative positions are not "a must" ... it is true, some positions help achieve and activate specific qualities but one can simply do the dishes and access a meditative state... I do sometimes, of course, my wife will gladly wash the dishes again but I'm appreciated mostly for the intention.
What is meditative state? Simply keep mouth shut, adopt whatever position one feels comfortable and pay attention to all and nothing.
Don't chase thoughts, ideas, only witness them, observe and let go that's it.
I'm using meditative states for various reasons for some years and I can meditate sitting on toilet if I feel the need to meditate while in bathroom... (some do selfies on bathroom so don't lough) :D it is not about rules, positions, breathwork, focus, it is about removing most of the distractions and basically create a gap between thinking as a process and reacting because it activates the Observer state. A tiny gap, a 3 second delay and activates awareness "separating" thought process and reaction .... 3 seconds means a lot.
Mudras or specific body positions are more for activating circuits in our etheric body but none of those are "a must".
The biggest challenge for beginners is to keep that Observer state as long as possible and for that there are many useful tools like focusing on heartbeat or breath or moving awareness behind the cerebellum (small brain on the back of the head)...

:) you just use other terms/words for the very same outcome as one of the purposes of meditative states is to activate and expand one's awareness from within to outside of self. But again, feel free to call it whatever you want, labels don't matter.

It doesn't matter to me. I just go for it. Plus, I have AC.

I personally like the heat so I dont have a problem with it but the cold is where I find myself fighting meditation. However, I think its better to take the extreme temperatures as an opportunity to cultivate meditative discipline and concentration. Its a challenge to myself to get to a point in meditation where im not paying attention to the sensations. So even though sometimes I really dont want to meditate if the temperature is extreme I push myself to do it anyways because I accept it as a challenge to overcome.
