Open-ended pentagram problem

Near my friend's house, there was a black pentagram drawn inside a circle. Over time, it got damaged, and when you passed by it, unpleasant things happened. I decided to scrape the pentagram off the wall. I couldn't scrape it all off, but some corners of the circle and pentagram came off. which made it worse. I painted over it completely with black spray paint, but it didn't lose its effect. It feels like a door opening from hell to the world. Should I scrape it off the wall at the first opportunity? Does anyone know of an alternative solution? It's in front of an apartment door, and I don't look very good trying to scrape something off the wall.

So by scraping it off, more bad shit happens? If that's not a clear sign to at least not scrape more off, I don't know what is. Put it back and see if that helps.
