This is a painting based off a a visceral, empowering experience I had while on a Quest.

I call it "Indomitable".

I sucked at painting too. The fool who persists in his folly will become wise. The key is to just keep doing it and find your way through experimentation.

That is true. Art requires practice. But I dont have an interest in painting so I still suck at it. Still very nice work I admire the hard work you put into it.

I have a recommendation. You once posted about depression in a different section. Have you ever tried making game maps, levels, that kind of art? It's a bit different but a good way to get the mind off the bad stuff. I also suck bad at drawing, in fact really bad. However in various mapping softwares I've made levels, in the past. it's quite fun once you understand the tool you're working with.

You can get very creative and have lots of fun, of course if you are interested in such stuff.

I have been thinking about adding more to this, initially it was based off direct experience, how awareness transcends sensation and that sensation rests in awareness. This gave me an incredible sense of acceptance, relaxation, and surrender to the full scope of being.

Lately I have been making tremendous strides in mastery over thought with Will, I may add that on top of this, or make it it's own piece, time will tell.

I think this image speaks for itself. I wanted to have an interplay between the world and the people in it, showing that activity is happening simultaneously on two different dimensions, yet visible specifically with the changes of color shining through each simple little person's eyes as they progress along the process. I'm happy with how this one came out, it's a nice addition to my apartment's décor.
