CONSCIOUSNESS TRANSFER (POWA)
A powerful practice of compassion for those who have recently passed away.

Powa is a ceremony dedicated to people who have passed away in the last 49 days. In this world, thousands of people and animals die every day from the most different causes. We can help them immensely by praying. We generate compassion and also pray for all those who have died, regardless of whether we know them personally.

This practice is very simple but has great meaning. Everyone, Buddhists and non-Buddhists, religious and non-religious, can participate or be represented.

It is very auspicious to make offerings in the name of those who have died. You may offer vegetarian food, non-alcoholic beverages or other material offerings.

The mantra of the Buddha of Compassion is OM MANI PEME HUM
