Hi friends, I have seen several questions on this forum about how to cleanse your dwelling and how to perform rituals to attract all good things in household magic. I decided to share my personal experience, which is based on our traditions. My familiar practitioners, as well as friends, always apply these methods.
It is especially important to keep your home energetically clean before ritual. Even if you perform rituals outside your home, the cleanliness of your dwelling is still an important aspect.
Here's how we do it:
Preparing salt for purification.
We buy the salt silently, without change (not a problem nowadays since everyone pays by card), and silently carry it home without looking around or talking to anyone. Done! Now we have a whole packet of purification salt at home. It should not be used for food. It must be stored separately.
Choosing the time for cleansing.
We wait for the waning moon. Although experienced practitioners do not always pay attention to the phases of the moon, but still many are sure that on the waning moon cleansing is easier and more effective.
Preparation of the mixture for cleansing.
When the waning moon is on the calendar, we take out our salt and pour it into a bucket (not all of it, a couple of spoons will be enough). Add herbs that are considered useful for cleansing and expelling negativity. We have wormwood, thistle, nettle, juniper and other herbs. If anyone is interested, I can tell you more about the herbs. We mix the salt and the herbs you have. Add a couple drops of natural essential oils or a macerate that you make yourself. We usually have pine, spruce or cedar oil available.
Cleansing Process.
Pour the mixture of salt and herbs with water, while reading the conspiracy on water for cleansing (each from his tradition). We open windows, shutters or balcony. We begin to wash the floors and all available surfaces (shelves, nightstands, wipe statuettes and so on) with this water. It is more convenient to wash all surfaces first, and then the floors. We start from the farthest room and finish at the threshold of the front door.
Fumigation of dwelling.
After cleaning, we fumigate the dwelling. We use herbal twists, which we set on fire and then put out the fire, so that the grass smoldered and cleansed the space with its smoke. Not all herb burns well, so we use some life hack: we light a coal from a hookah and drop chopped herb on top. It smolders beautifully.
Cleansing by fire.
The third and most important step is purification by fire. We light a candle (only with matches, as magic does not tolerate artificial materials). I have seen on the ethereal plane how artificial materials manifest themselves in magic: they smell and burn like tires from cars. That is why a candle should only be made of natural wax. Since ancient times wax has been considered a magical material capable of absorbing and sealing energy.
Take a candle, light it and go from the front door clockwise around the house. We pass the fire in the corners (where it is available) and walls, but not closely, but at a distance of 10-15 centimeters. If the candle smokes, “spits” or emits black smoke, stay in this place longer. Having gone around the apartment with a candle in hands and reading the conspiracy, in the end we put the candle at the front door, so that it burns out. We throw the a candle stub (the rest of the candle) in the trash, but do not touch it with bare hands.
I always read the conspiracy with an appeal to the housekeeper to help him kick out all the bad things from the house. And on the night after purification I leave him on the kitchen table cookies, milk or candy on a saucer.
