Seeking Specialists In Different Magickal Paths

I am looking to understand magick through specialization rather than surface level exposure.

I would appreciate suggestions on practitioners, authors, or teachers who are known for going deep in a specific magickal path or category such as ceremonial or high magick, angelic work, spirit or ancestral work, necromancy, folk magic, or chaos magick.
If possible, please include what path they specialize in and why you recommend them.

My goal is to study strong specialists in different lanes so I can better understand each path and see which one I naturally resonate with.

Sorry if I don't exactly answer your question, but to read and understand specialized texts you will need to have a solid foundation to stand on.

In my humble opinion, depth comes also from your practice, not only the texts you read. Some texts simply tell you what to do, and it will work even if they didn't explain how it supposedly works. Maybe the author didn't even know how it all works, just that it does.

Invoking/evoking/pathworking to an entity of your choice will give you a depth no text can. Experience might not explain things, but it will partly remove the need to explain everything, at least it does for me.

Again, try the basics in different lanes in practice, and you'll get a much better understanding of what works for you. Then you keep going from there.

Yes, this. One can read about making a cake and read several cookbooks, that gives in no way the dept of the experience. That cake is a distinct reality if you not felt the dough, worked with the ingredients, discovered that the dough was to warm to really work with, that the sour apples needed a little bit more sugar, that butter tasted better than margarine and that the baked warm cake tasted delicious but that you burnt your mouth..... I suggest that it is better to just start somewhere and put theory aside. First start some practice, specialisation comes later (or not because you designed your own path) Before going deep, you first need a base to build on and you will find out very soon what resonates or not. A beginner does not necessairily need to choose a path and rationalisation seldom comes to work in magick. If you want to study it, you have to do it.
