Thoughts on this Hoodoo spell

This spell is used to banish spirits and/or any negative energies, requires 4 metal plates or stone for each room that I want cleansed, which I'm just going to use my incense burner as its the only thing for me that is currently available, don't see the need to spend more money.

Burning a teaspoon of sulfur should be more than enough? Seems like overkill for me but from what I read in Hoodoo books its pretty much the answer if you want things out and gone for good. I live with people that would be completely annoyed if they smell it, especially during midnight as this is when the spell must be done.

So my question is, one incense burner and a teaspoon of sulfur should be enough?

Regarding housemates, if they'd already be annoyed by the scent of normal incense then the pungency and irritations from Sulphur Dioxide could make their annoyance and any existing health issues worse.

This makes me think it is based on Hebrew demon bowls. These were 4 bowls, inscribed with a spell, that were buried upside down in / outside the corners of your house. The demon was (is) attracted to it and then can't get out from under it.
From what I know sulphur indeed is one of the things that basically every conjure/hoodoo spell seems to need. Probably because it was (is?) so readily available in the US.
The main thing (in my opinion) is that you cover the whole area - that's why you use 4 plates / bowls around your home. For sulphur I really can't say. If I were you I'd simply use white sage or dragon's blood incense.

They're ok with other incenses, sulfur smells like shit though, right. And isn't the same like other incenses.

What I'm saying is, burning more than is required might be unnecessary since sulfur is possibly potent enough in just a small amount.

Yeah, possibly could be I guess there's no way of doing half way with the spell or switch to different ingredients to avoid troubling anyone else, which probably means that I need to find something else.

I'm suppose to address the four lwa, Granbois, Baron Carrefour, Baron Cimitiere and Damballah while doing it.

You could use sulfur strips they use to disinfect and prevent the formation of vinegar build-up wine barrels. What you could do is light a strip and extinguish it as soon as you feel that it has taken effect which makes the smell more controllable and is less messy if you want to keep your incense burner clean.

Oh okay, I'll look into it. Thank you!
