By "tic" I mean some annoying thing a major actor insists on doing in EVERY film he's in. Like Robin Williams' bi-polar rant, though this at least had variations from film to film.

My two oldies pet annoying tics are 1) George Peppard smoking a big-a** cigar regardless of role. With that pink face and blondie hair, he looked like my golden retriever pinching a loaf. 2) Mel Gibson baring his butt in every movie. Maybe it's a boss butt. Maybe if I swung that way I'd even take John Thomas driving there. The problem is, I can't enjoy the movie till buttrise drives the apprehension away like Sol the morning mist.

The floor is open...

When Bruce Willis made Twelve Monkeys, the director, Terry Gilliam, gave him a piece of paper with a list on it.
"This is a list of all the things Bruce Willis does in movies. I want you not to do any of them."

If you want to see a movie with Mel Gibson in it where you need have no fear of him baring his butt, I recommend the amusing homage to video games movie "Boss Level". Mel is the bad guy and his bottom does not appear unclothed once.

My "tic" is Antony Mackie, the new Captain America. There are always times when he is called upon to show some kind of shock/non-reaction to an event, but his facial expression is always "Did I leave the gas on?"

Yeah. Mackie can really run the emotional range from A to B.
