What color is WF? 🤔

For the entire history of WF, our “theme” (website aesthetic) has essentially been completely greyscale. Black, grey and white.

But imho WF evokes thoughts, emotions, memories and an “aesthetic” that go beyond just the website.

I’m curious to know, in your mind, what color does WF evoke if you had to pick only one? In other words, if WF was a manor, what color would most of the walls be painted?

I like the WF colour scheme as it is, I think it makes for a more sober atmosphere than others; at the same time, black is also mysterious, an appropriate hue for an occult forum.

Oh, not the site I meant like more the abstract concept of WF itself… does it have a color to you?

I’m not looking to change the colors of the site anytime soon, if I do it would be in announcements section …

I’m just curious if anyone has assigned colors (emotionally/poetically) to the concept of WF or to a non-typical mental manifestation of WF (in mind palace for instance) etc etc

Sort of like if WF was a place in the astral plane what would it look like…

I get a feeling of something that's not single toned. More like a mix of the main chakra colors. The forum has different topics on all kinds of subjects. A lot is being covered, the book related, so much. Giving a mixed effect.

If it were just one color then probably indigo.

WF, the source of wisdom.

Like @HoldAll said, the color scheme itself is great but I'd add one thing. For people who prefer light themes, also the classic white colors of the old WF. Default being the current one.

Going more specific then.
With some symbolism added then a triangle with eye in there, silver indigo triangle, silver indigo eye, indigo rays all around the eye. Outside of the triangle indigo cloud, surrounding it.

i tried to look at wf as a house, but it has a will of its own and transformed into a living conscious groups consciousness. to me they look like a clout of birds up in the sky.
i let them do their thing and they show me walls with brocade wallpaper, purple with a hue of grey and golden fleur-de-lis-es. the floor used to be nice and shiny oak, but now it squawks. the house has many rooms. i notice a library, but also a room that looks like a lab and many others.

The black scheme is fine. With white-type it is easy to read. Believe me I know: I used to read a competitor site that had red on black writing. You went bind quicker reading that than a three-armed onanist. Plus, black here sets a tone.

Keep the color scheme the same. It is easy on the eyes. Thats what i care about the most rather than the "feeling" of the color.

I like the mixed color thing like Amadeus said, it would seem each section holds a different color in the mind, like a color coated directory. But walking in I’d think of a red isle of carpet on grey stone leading to the different sections,
Example:
Energy manipulation - Yellow
Philosophy- Purple
General Occult - Greyish silver
LHP - Black
RHP - White
Art - Turquose
Music - Orange
Herbs and such - Green
The end of the rows would consist of a small Red “Announcements, Rules, Recent news ect” booklet on a wood podium with the back wall being the same gray brick as the floor but with the sites insignia displayed in the center.
