I just replied to another, older thread of yours. Not creeping on you, just bouncing through the Controversy category today.

Hunter S. Thompson repeatedly said that he invented the whole "extracted from the pineal gland" thing as a literary device for an exotic super drug in Fear and Loathing. He used the name of a real thing because of an Aldous Huxley book about taking LSD mentioned he heard it was like mescaline, but Huxley had never actually taken it. Thompson can't stand how people took him literally and totally missed the point of the exotic super drug as the last stop on Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo's attempts to get higher and higher.

Adrenochrome is just oxidized adrenaline. Y

. So the entire conspiracy mythology is because Thompson didn't just make up the name of a fictional super drug and accidentally used the name of a real thing. If he had said it was called Mitchalstanium and was extracted from recycled soda cans, Q anon folks would be talking about elites freebasing aluminum powder from empty Mountain Dew six packs.

Besides, everyone knows that elites are on the fad of getting transfusions of blood from the young. Easy, simple, legal, and quick. They're very open about that - there

. In a few years they'll be on to something new. Rich people are still people, they can be duped by scams promising longevity just the same as anyone else.

left-wing anarchist here, I'm a huge proponent of interrogating power and approaching anything they say , or their cat-paws say, with full-spectrum skepticism.

I am pretty fine with minority opinion hypotheses but conspiracy theories (yes, I know a term created by the CIA) , while they often come from the same full-spectrum skepticism of finance-power, they also make everyone look insane because they can hold up the dutiful good-boy counter example, the mainstream simp-chimp, and conformist NPC uncritically lapping up their messaging and asking for more, as what good, dutiful, and model citizen looks like.

Oh, wait. I think that all stopped working for them a few years back . Never mind. :)
