The real truth of the occult is something people just don't want to hear- occult secrets are discovered by the individual, they aren't taught. Once people gain power they don't give a shit about NOT being in 'obscurity'. They are focused on transcending the physical plane altogether. This pay-for-play stuff is the kiddie pool of occultism...in fact, it's not even that, as it's not even preparation for deeper waters.

I don't care if I'm doing "kiddie pool occultism" as long as it works. It sounds like you are attached to some ultra cool edgelord version of occultism. If that's your jam, great. I'm into this to learn about the universe and get a better life. Just like any other topic, sometimes I benefit from teachers in learning more toward that end.

I saw the Samuel David post. I truly don't have enough context about either of their personal lives to know what is accurate. Some of David's grievances seemed...not worth mentioning...like "had a bunch of LHP occultists say YHVH"? Okay?

but the only thing we've got on him there is Samuel Davids who looks like he's crashing out in pure occultist style. Joshua Gadbois was definitely crashing out when he chimed in

Totally agree. One of Davids' grievances seemed to be that Jack Grayle knocked on his door and tried to talk things out. Another accusation seemed to be "owns a Gallery of Magick book." Who doesn't? Just... wtf?!

But also totally agree that an occultist being shitty in private would be completely unsurprising.
