Everyone's got one.

Although I was told these are different names for the same thing, I still seem to find difference in them. Astral temple is more of a external temple, you have to project yourself to it. On the other hand, Inner temple seems to be a internal temple, where you go into the self in the mind.
What are your thoughts on this?

They are the same thing, the difference lies in the practitioner’s skills to perceive. If a practitioner can only visualize it, then it functions purely as a focused place for meditation. And it doesn’t offer much of anything. But if the practitioner can astral project to it, it can become your functional base. A place where you can heal and regenerate yourself, casting spells, etc.

Ah I see, I tried to use the visualized version to cast spells. But ended up quite sick, probably because I did it in the wrong way?

I agree with Keldan, if your astral senses are not yet developed to a certain extent, this will be a kind of mental projection, but still nonetheless very effective, but if you senses are developed, you will perceive astrally, everything gets more real with energy, color, and emotion in it. Both are the same and internal, in the sense that they are in subtle planes accessed from the inner planes, meaning from oneSELF, and they can be localised everywhere and nowhere.

Both are the same and internal

They’re aspects of the same thing, but they’re very different. One is internal, a purely mental or visualization place. The other is external, somewhere you can actually go to via astral projection.

You didn’t do it wrong, but you approached it only through visualization, and that limits how it functions, like I mentioned above as in it doesn’t offer much of anything. That is for the one you astral project to it, then perform your workings (casting, healing, etc.) after astral projection.

If you try to do everything inside visualization without ever shifting into actual astral projection, you overload the cognitive and function of your mind. The mind is forced to sustain too much concentrated imagery and effort for too long, and it will start to strain and break down.

This is why people often report becoming unwell, depleted, or mentally fragmented when they insist on doing it all purely in a visualization mode. The issue is the lack of transition from a mental model to an astral projection.

Yes! Thank you!

That's exactly what I experienced. I tried to make a servitor and cast a spell, both ended up in success. Although at the cost of a headache that affected me for a week or so. I had the feeling that my mental part is under a lot of stress, but I cannot make a conclusion as clearly as yours.

This week I actively practiced astral projection, I got two different methods that kind of suits me. One is where I project energy out of my body, the other is to get my whole astral body out of me while I sleep.

If I only project part of my energy, does that count as a astral projection? As It seem like a deep meditation to me rather then a projection.

If you project part of your energy, it somewhat counts as a form of astral projection, because you’re projecting a part of yourself (your energy, in this case). You can use this as an exercise to practice astral projection. Start by projecting just a portion of your energy, and then over time work on projecting more and more of yourself.

Eventually, you reach the point where you can project your whole self out of your body and elevate yourself to your inner palace through astral projection. Once you’re there, you’ll have a stable vantage point from which you can cast spells, perform workings, or carry out other tasks, and without putting such a heavy strain on your mind.
