[Opinion] - Knot Magic?
I have read a few references to this.(E.g., the Quran's Surah Al-Falaq (113), "I seek refuge from the Lord of the Dawn from the evil...of those who blow upon knots." Commentators take this as a reference to sorcery. The Net yields a lot of hits as to knot magick, but most are on the order of ...wizardforums.com
Plus the books in our Library.
Does anybody have any resources or tips to get into knot magic? I have been called to try somethings regarding knot magic, but I am new to the topic?
Thanks! I don't think I have access yet. I think I need to post more.![]()

Thank you! This is kinda what had come to mind. I was on the right path. The simplest variety is to acquire a cord (braiding one yourself is best), consecrate it and then speak your spell as you gather it into a knot. Breath through the gap in the cord as you close the knot. Find a number that fits your working and repeat the spell that many times down the length of the cord, or do variations to shift the scope or intent of the spell.
Thanks so much! I am going to check this out. I think this was what someone was telling me about. The 9 knot spell is the simplest, a search should bring it up. It's literally string, words and visualisation/intent.
It's used for practical results magic.
I'd suggest simply 'doing' it and see how you go.
It's literally as simple as tying a knot.
