I'm pursuing learning several form of divination and decided to perform a ritual on the new moon to help further open my third eye and reach out to ancestors spirits for guidance in using my chosen tools, I believe the ritual was successful as the night after I was jolted awake by a hypnagogic vision of a white ball of energy with a face hurtling towards me, it collided with me head on and made me physically jolt awake and sit up in bed. My question is has anyone else had a similar experience? What were your feelings afterwards and how has it affected your abilities? I have pictures of the meditation space i created and vividly remember how the meditation was conducted if anyone has any questions.

Getting sudden intense visions after a lot of work sunk into practice are familiar. When I got slothful, all I had gained went away and had to be built back up from ground level, with the only advantage that this time I knew I'm capable of it. :) it's a lot like doing sports, I guess.

People always think this shit is like parlour tricks.. Its really not that simple. I also would not recommend an unitiated person to do this.. You should be lead by a mentor and a school.. Even in the ancient mystery schools, they were not given things or taught things wihtout being ready...

There are protocols done by many powerful industries to help prevent us from opening these faculties. Comlpetely opening the third eye chakra causes immense life changes and spiritual transformation.. If you don't have the foundational energies to support doing so, it can be very damaging to ones life..

How do I know? I've had my third eye chakra wide open for many years. It's a scary thing in many ways.. but I was lead through a process of first strengthening my foundational energies.. and being able to support it.. Even then, I couldn't fully support it.. and eventually had to work for years to come back to normal societal level of energy. Opening faculties like my third eye and crown chakra made me drift far from society.. but I learned so much about this life, and you see things , you can see behind the veil.. Evocations you will see the spirit although I was taught not to talk about this to laymen/non initiates outside of my circle.. regardless, I'm far removed now so it doesn't matter.

With that being said, there are mantras, mudras that are very specific to helping this. As much as I would like to share, these are considered "secrets" and I keep them "sacred."

However I will give you some supplements that can help speed up the process: EDTA (take on empty stomach), Niacin (b3) can cause flushing and severe itching of the skin.. its harmless though. it opens up the capillaries and also decalcifies the glands related to third eye, Borax crystals (most information will warn you against ingesting this, but they're fools trying to hide the truth).. You will HAVE to take these in order for things to happen.. Most people are not powerful enough to decalcify themselves.. because its a real alchemical process.

Having your third eye chakra open is a very lifechanging process and can be hard to live with until you have worked hard on your foundational energies to support it.. If you're ready to turn your life upside down and start an immense spiritual journey, go for it.. You will be attacked by specific entities, you will have a constant battle on your hands.. But you will also be able to see energy, which makes it easier to mold and move it.. It creates great intuition and discernment.. but also can make people think you are schizophrenic. What balances a strong third eye out is a powerful sacral chakra.. Sacral chakra allows you to see things "as they are".. and not as something else. Why is this important? The beings you will see have no physical image.. they will shift, they will trick and tease you, come to you as family that passed, as friends, as strange visions.. Ultimately they're fucking with you..

Man I can't say enough about this stuff.. but i would advise against it 100x

Not everyone gets a psychotic break who works on mystical perception.

With respect, opening your third eye chakra fully is not simply "working on mystical perception".. Unless you have experienced a full third eye chakra awakening, you will never understand the alchemical process that awakens within you and the journey that comes with it.. It's not just "look at me my perception is awakened!".. It's so much more than that..

That's why those who are of higher orders in initiatory systems/magick organization, and why covens and secret societies like to keep to their own as well.. Because people outside or who are not adept won't understand or be able to relate.. Its much much different when you are all initiated along a path and take time to open different faculties within you, from different energy centers, to abilities... That's why in magikcal orders and organizations like Hermetic Order of Golden Dawn, there are grades... a system of learning, step by step, a hierarchical initiation system..

The third eye and crown chakra can be some of the most difficult energy centers to have open and harness.. It may sound like alot of fun and cool and powerful stuff, but its great power that is also hard to hold.. "Heavy is the head that wears the crown".. Just some of the stuff you come to know about life and about people around you or people you meet can be heavy to hold.. some people get depressed at the truth of reality that comes with "knowing" (in relation to having an active crown) or "seeing" (the truth, in relation to third eye)..

Ofc when you are taken into the path step by step, and you build a strong foundation first, then you are able to hold these powers more without it being difficult to deal with.

That being said, you don't need to "fully open" the third eye chakra to make use of it.. its already somewhat active in some practitioners of magick because.. visualizing things often helps it be more active.. It's a gland on the physical... its just not fully charged or awakened to its potential until you really open it.

oh yes, none of us could even conceive of your mighty adept status, lol. we use words differently than you, so we must be really unadvanced. you have no idea what others here have done, been through, studied and learned, or gotten initiated into.

i see that you're on a drive to proselytize, with little more meat than to project an unquestionable air of secret-laden adepthood around your own person, and a general air of infallibility and condescension.

in my experience, real adepts are the least likely to do this, they are and thus don't want so desperately to seem...

chill out, this isn't a playground for your ego

I started my post reply to you "with respect" because nothing about my opinion is meant to be personal to you.. Yet, you still managed to take it personally.. You'll be alright.. Not a great way to garner respect though. I'm simply stating my opinions here. When I say adept I just mean people who have been in practice for a long time as opposed to beginners. I also mean those who are initiated in a magick circle, coven-- and also have the long term experience.

Hey r4zorenigma,

I thought you explained yourself well, and I really appreciate you sharing your perspective. I didn’t really have the words to explain some of what I’ve experienced, but a lot of what you said resonated with me.

Early in my journey, I was honestly obsessed with opening my third eye and trying to push myself further. The more I got into it, the more intense things became, especially during sleep. I had experiences that felt like I was being attacked and that I needed to defend myself. Even years later, I would still have intense experiences that reminded me how much I had pushed myself.

So I actually understand what you mean about needing a foundation and not rushing into things. That is something I’ve come to understand through my own experience.

These days I’m focusing much more on the basics: meditation, journaling, healing, grounding, and spending time in nature. I’m not in such a rush anymore. I think building the foundation is important before trying to open every door at once.

I also believe that when the student is ready, the teacher will come. I’d rather be prepared when the next door opens than force it open before I’m ready.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your perspective. I thought you explained yourself well, and I’m glad you shared it.

Hello, thanks for your kind words. I am glad to hear my perspective resonated with you!

I also resonate with where you're at.. meditation, journaling, healing, grounding, spending time in nature.. These are all great things.. I am a big advocate of the practical over the mystical these days.. But i do find great benefit in planetary magick, folk magick, sigil working, self hypnosis, etc. I think spending alot of time in the occult helped me become better at managing life in more logical and practical ways. The more I tapped into that, the more control I realized I have over my life and my reality.

Feel free to reach out any time if you want to chat.
