[Opinion] If you get angry at someone, will you curse them?

Everyone's got one.

I’d say so, though of course in a relatively small way.

But I don’t know if we share the same metaphysics

in my reckoning:

1. all there is is the field of mind and everything in it is all the same godhead at the bottom of it

2. we therefore share a common identity between all of us, so what we do to another we do ourselves

3. given the principle of mentalism in point 1. Thoughts and feelings are a type of action. Kindness at the level of thought is kindness, violence is violence

But because we are the same being, we do the violence to ourselves

and then there’s the more practical down to earth way this is true in that it’s only our own system we’re polluting with the stress of anger and negativity

edit: that said—there is a time and a place for violence, we just have to be aware that we are hurting ourselves to the same degree we hurt another
So, using this line of thinking, when others hurt us, they’re actually hurting themselves, and by not responding to them, we’re allowing them to hurt us and themselves—and we’re not stopping them from hurting us and themselves.
Hmmmm… I think it’s just something—and forgive me for saying this—that’s pointless, isn’t it?

Let us also consider this aspect: a truly malicious person constantly abuses and mocks those around them. Failing to stop such a person is, in itself, a sin! In most cases, an evildoer cannot be stopped through peaceful means, but rather through force; therefore, employing cursing or any other magical methods to stop a malicious individual is, in fact, a good deed! What matters most is the intention behind one's actions; violence aimed at stopping a malicious person is not a bad thing—it is a good one!

In my opinion, violence or throwing curses used exclusively for the purpose of self-defense is fully justified.

Well but you hit the nail right on the head

by allowing another to hurt you (in an instance where you have the choice to decide between this course of action or another)

you’re not just allowing yourself to be damaged, but you’re allowing them to damage themselves

which is twice the imperative to do something wiser

Magic Practitioner, not even a non cursing one, but a non cursing person (a few seconds after I think something evil I take it back) and trying to be non-cursing as well, but darn is it hard not to drop an F bomb when you work beside psychotics, downies, and other Neurodiverse who aren't well behaved and Neurotypical bosses who don't try to detox the work environment.

Indeed, there are scoundrels who hide behind the guise of religion, kindness, or gentleness, yet they are thoroughly evil at heart, and there is no way to confront them except through others who possess the power to deter them.

Thank you. I really appreciate your tremendous ability and your self-confidence in admitting the truth—these are qualities I rarely find in people, and even then only once in a while. God bless you, man.

It really is like having a police presence in the neighborhood; without it, society would turn into a chaotic, violent place where bullies would impose their authority on the gentle, kind, and vulnerable.

If someone succeeded in making me lose my composure in front of others, I'd privately berate myself for my lack of control and looked into my own psyche to find out which buttons were there for others to push so easily. Getting angry in public spells a loss of face according to my personal value code (it may be inspired by Far East concepts, I think). The thought of retaliation would probably cross my mind; I'd seethe but would most likely tell myself that I should be grateful for having been shown holes in my game. If someone insulted me and I was becoming so angry that couldn't come up with adequate comeback, I would consider myself to having been defeated. On the other hand, the pathetic fool in front of me would also lose face in my eyes - after all, isn't there something ludicrous about a person getting all red in the face and screaming with impotent rage?

It's different when such a verbal attack is meant as an overture to actual hostilities, like threats to your physical safety or the welfare of your family because then it's not about introspection or perfecting my character anymore but about neutralising aggression, and it's up to you how far you're willing to take it. However, I'd recommend a 'cooling-off' period of three days before taking serious action, or at least sleeping over it. When you're angry, you can't think straight and may overlook important factors, e.g. the strengths of your enemy or blind spots on your part. Revenge is a dish best served cold, as they say.

Another option, again depending on the situation, is deescalation. It's hard to do and can only be accomplished with a cool head. Calming the other person down while preserving one's own dignity is an art but can earn you the respect of anyone watching. Deescalating is tricky though because you can't be seen as a meek doormat, thus potentially encouraging others to hurt you as well.

I guess the upshoot of all this is probably that one should keep one's temper, irrespective of whether you want to hit back with a curse or not. Angry persons are rash and make mistakes. It's a weakness to be exploited, not proof of manliness.

Indeed, your response is sound and well-reasoned, and self-respect is indeed an important trait in determining the wisdom of men.
What drives them is sound judgment based on standards of justice.

In the context of human life and human interactions, everyone is affected in one way or another; so perhaps you’ll wake up one day to find a fool driven by arrogance, a sense of righteousness, hatred, or a conflict of interest with you.
So, would you use your magic to curse that fool, and if so, what kind of curse would you use, and how would you do it?
I’m not asking you to reveal your secrets, just what your thoughts are—or would you forgive them and not do it at all?
It's not as simple as they made me mad so I curse them for me although we as people really do say curse words when we're angry but for me YOU GOTTA EARN THAT SHIT I mean like you are a HORRIBLE REPEATED OFFENDER type of person to make me say YEAH YOU DESERVE A LESSON but the simple everyday crap. No.

I agree with what you wrote, and indeed, logic and fairness depend on wisdom, a balanced approach, and the proper use of the weapons at our disposal...
But isn't that same person unreasonable when he crushes an ant just because it bit him?

No an ant that bit him is too small of a thought when it comes to hexing someone. That's peas and carrots. There are worse things people have experienced at the hands of someone else.

Now, after all that effort, do you think the results were fair given the effort you put in, and did they deserve it after all these years?
It's hard to say. I wouldn't put it simply in terms of "deserving" or not. I think they should be hurt back for bullying my friends. Whether they have learned the lesson or not, I have no way of knowing. But I do think it was worth the effort.

I think if they hurt your friends what do you mean by that? Did they "GRAPE 🍇" them type of hurt then yes HEX/CURSE THEIR ASS. Where they mean and trying to get them fired or expelled them I think you can do a reversal on them to send back the harm they caused to teach them a lesson. That is energetically less taxing on you and you can always do a freezer spell. I believe hexing and cursing is for more serious matters like the one I mentioned. Everything else can be a reversal or freezer spell also I always ask spirit by using the cards (Tarot) if I can and should FIRST before attempting anything. I had one time in life were my Field Manager was picking on me and harassing me for no reason so I asked Spirit if I should hex him and I got the lovers card from my tarot reader and he said don't bother and as things played it he was right. That Field Manager took his own silly ass out.
