I have no objection to you directly linking to free downloads (provided it doesn't contain virusses) but there's also the option in in a post's command panel (the "chainlink" icon above) of pasting in the download link in a small window and then giving it a short name, e.g. download link, so the post will look tidier instead of displaying four lines of code. Just a suggestion.
