[Help] A wierd dream

I just recently got a dream today . For foundational knowledge , I am a vegan and havent ate meat . (-> = Then)
The dream , I have forgot of things before and after a particular incident.
Th incident can be described via the following posts
1) I was sitting in a restaunt or some kind , the background walls consisted of bright yellowish shade ,and it was stools right next to a counter kindoff restro
2) I was lost in my thoughts while sitting there
3) Then I saw , some cooked Lizards which were impaled by a wooden stick and bieng surved to be , like french fries uk , but it looked more like a snack out of lizards , they looked golden browinsh
4) After seeing the lizrds I became conscious of me bieng in the dream as an independent consciousness but I wasnt able to control my actions.
5) I began talking to someone , i cant recall what but it felt like I was conversing
6) then brutal part , I ate one of the lizards and felt a sensation similar to , (crispy like chips -> Soft but cooked almost jigly kinda -> Acidic tingly sensation )
7) At first it felt like I was able to control myself and eat only like the very tip top of the lizard , but then I took a 2nd chop around it neck and eating it
At that point I became so conscious of what I was doing that I woke up. But the wierd thing is that the acidic tingly sensation after taste in the dream followed even when I was awake ,
I brushed with my mint based tooth paste , but still the after taste was there till for next 4 - 5 hours before it faded out during my lunch.

This happend to me like a week ago , but I after comparing what Lizards actually taste like and learning about dream meanings , I cant reach a conclusion. so I decided to ask for help before I furgot the dream , like I have furgot many things aboout the dream as it is now.
SO I want help understanding what that dream actually means

I am not in a cult and someone offering me food was very long ago . But there are a few people in my friend circle which disgust by thier mentalities , like kindoff my enemies. Now that I think of it I have been recently (*during when the dream occured) that specific some 1 - 2 people have exploited me and used me just when they needed a ride and I have been internally hating it .

Rightt , I have been facing mainly trust issues in the recently , ig the dream was telling me to not raise suspiscion but take action too .Could this interpretation be true ?

Very rarely , like it is the only time I remember so far (*because it was so awful) . But when I was much younger I did get sweets sometimes , but a lasting taste didnt occur

Pretty often actually. As an example, I ate an entire burrito once, the large 7-11 microwave variety, and tasted/enjoyed the entire thing. I didn't even realize it was a dream until the sun came up. Long story short, in my day, 7-11 actually closed at 11 pm, so I had to hurry to get that burrito before they closed, and it was a 15 minute walk from my apartment. I made it on time, don't remember paying for it or much else, but I was enjoying while walking back to the apartment, and the sun came up, which startled me awake. So, either a massive time jump, or a dream, lol.
