Surprised there is no thread, at least none in search results. That changes now.

Shamanism is humanities oldest belief system, going back to Hunter-Gatherer days.
Every tribe or village had one strange man or woman, who's hut... and life... were off on the edge.
Eating strange things, talking to empty air... but they knew things. Things no one else knew.
Was this knowledge from spirits or the ancestors or thanks to an outsider's perspective?
... when someone was sick, something the tribe's wise women had no lore for... they were called.

Thank you! These videos are so helpful because the way I get information is just odd. Its like the wind told me. There's no source the wind just told me you know. I just sense it? But it might not entirely true because my perceptions of the world is also limited.

Also why I want to preface in that I think through my understanding Shamans are like the therotical physicists of the spirit world. Therotical physicists job is to just come up with ideas, theories, hypothesis. Sometimes they expirement since there still a physicist but a lot of the time its just hypothesis.

Expiremental physicists are the ones that test these hypothesis and sometimes they make hypothesis but thats not their job. And expirmenting with physics do pose risk I think the same can be said for magic. Taking precautions and making sure things are safe when expirmenting is a good practice I think.

I personally don't have as much time to expiremnt with magic but I can say what the as they say the wind told me. I feel like hiding what the wind told me is not good because these insights seem pretty good. Not all the way good because constantly learning but if people want to know what the wind told me then I gotta say it.

But I want to responsible when saying this and that if anyone takes my total word for it don't. Take precautions. Safety first.

Also dreams I have a lot of weird imagery in dreams and theres no real source for it beside my own dreams. So yeah

Thanks again for making this thread and those videos put into words what I was kind of feeling.

I'm also lacking in materials or space so I feel like and reccomend safety first. Like in a lab when you wear safety glasses because of the expirement potentially being dangerous.

Yes, any new frontier carries risks, that must be managed and hopefully mitigated. However, sometimes these risks are unknowns.
Just think about Marie Curie or Apollo 13. Yet, as my fav TV show of all time said... to boldly go where no one has gone before...

I'm currently enjoying the concept of archetypal shamanism. The "shaman" or medicine carrier for the tribe or community arises across all cultures regardless of ethnicity based on the needs or illness of said culture.

@SkullTraill Hopefully this video doesn't violate the forum rules. I rewatched it after I posted it and towards the end of the video the speaker does plug his offerings.
