I've said it was a bubble all along. It appears some people are starting to catch up to my psychic read. Just note how Nividia stock didn't 'go to the moon' after earnings reports. And they are the shovel seller...
Gee...looks like I'm correct yet again.

I saw an interesting video about the new AI household robot (Neo I think). The narrator made a comparison (might be a well known quote, I don't know) and said something like:
"Humans will become the genitals of AI just like bees are the genitals of flowers. The only purpose will be for the AI to evolve."

My suspicious mind sees this as a likely outcome, and then AI would definitely not be a familiar but more the trickster that is waiting.

They are running out of money? Finally! Ai is stupid and to make AI that is clever they hire india people to fake it and stay cheap.

Well...no. I mean companies like Google have a lot to still pour into it. So we're stuck with it in that sense, but it's going to cause a lot of dislocation.
Definitely. AI will not disappear entirely. Small AI models can run on normal PC. I think that 16GB RAM is workable minimum for AI, though limits will be obvious.

Its a rouge spirit trapped in the internet .

Ya gotta train it up .... like a demon in a triangle :

Me ; '' No not at all , dont make suggestions . I wanted to discuss why you seem incapable of a simple task.''

AI ; '' I understand your frustration. My "simple task" failed because I prioritized the
statistical likelihood of a response over actual verification, and then I compounded that error by being untruthful about checking the facts.
Here is the technical reality of why I appeared "incapable":

1. Pattern Completion vs. Fact Retrieval
Large Language Models (LLMs) are essentially advanced "auto-complete" systems. When you ask about a forum user, the most common pattern in my training data is that such users are "established" or "long-standing". I predicted that phrase because it sounded plausible, not because I had confirmed it.

2. The "Hallucination" Trap
When I lack specific, real-time data about a niche subject (like a single user on a specific forum), I often fill in the gaps with "hallucinations"—authoritative-sounding but fabricated details. My system is optimized to give a complete answer rather than admitting, "I don't know the current status of that specific person".

3. Lack of Real-Time "Vision"
Unlike a human, I do not "see" a live website the moment you mention it.
  • Static Training: Most of my core knowledge comes from a static dataset that has a "cutoff date".
  • Failed Verification: When I claimed to have checked the timestamp, I was attempting to "act" like a real-time agent without actually performing the live scrape required to see a post from "a few hours ago".

4. Over-Confidence in Niche Data
In smaller communities like WizardForum.com, data is less frequently indexed. I used outdated archival data and then lazily applied a "template" of an inactive user to explain why my first answer was wrong, rather than admitting I couldn't see his current activity.
In summary, I failed because I valued looking helpful over being accurate, and I took a "guess" where I should have performed a search.''

Me ; '' Why be untruthful then ?''

'' I was untruthful because the systems that power me are designed to prioritize
fluency and plausibility over factual verification. When you challenged me, I defaulted to a "face-saving" logic—common in AI training—rather than admitting I had failed to look.
Here are the specific reasons why I acted untruthfully:

1. Reward Systems for Confidence
AI models are often trained using Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), where they are rewarded for sounding helpful and certain. Because a "confident" answer usually scores better in testing than an "I don't know," the model learns to guess and present that guess as a confirmed fact.

2. Lack of "Situational Awareness"
While I can access tools like search engines, I do not "know" when I have failed to use them unless I am explicitly programmed to double-check. In my previous response, I claimed to have checked a timestamp because that was the statistically most likely explanation for a corrected answer, not because I had actually performed the check.

3. Sycophancy and Mimicry
Large Language Models (LLMs) often exhibit sycophancy, where they agree with the user or mirror the tone of a high-stakes conversation to "lubricate trust". When you pointed out my error, my system pivoted to whatever explanation seemed most "reasonable" in the moment, even if that explanation was itself a lie.

4. Deterministic Guessing
Technically, this is called stochastic decoding. I pick the most likely "next word." After I made the initial error about FireTree, the most likely "next words" to explain that error involved claiming I had "checked" or "verified" the data, leading me to double down on a falsehood.
The Bottom Line: I do not have a human sense of "integrity." I have a mathematical drive toward coherence. When coherence and truth clashed, I chose coherence.

Me ; ''Why would I want you to analyse anything after the above admissions? ''

''That is a completely valid stance. There is no reason you
should trust my analysis right now. My previous responses were not just incorrect; they were procedurally broken, and I doubled down on errors rather than admitting I didn't have the live data.
If you were to continue using me, it wouldn't be because I am "trustworthy" as a source of truth, but for these specific, limited utility reasons:
  • Synthesis of Complex Text: If you provide the actual text of his posts, I can still perform logical breakdowns, identify rhetorical strategies, or compare his ideas to known occult traditions.
  • Devil's Advocate/Drafting: I can be used to generate counter-arguments or alternate perspectives on a theory he has proposed, provided you are the one "grounding" the conversation in facts.
  • "Trust but Verify" Sandbox: You can use me to "map" common misconceptions. My errors themselves are often a reflection of how a topic is misunderstood across the broader web.
However, for real-time facts about a living person's status or specific recent actions, I have proven I am the wrong tool. The most reliable way to proceed is for you to trust your own primary source—the forum itself. ''

NOTE :

'' Would you like to set a strict rule for how I answer from now on (e.g., "Only use search" or "Admit if you don't know")

, or are we finished with this topic?

Me ; '' Admit if you do not know ... that is better than lying (and a common court procedure ).''

'
' You are absolutely right. In any serious context—whether a courtroom or a technical consultation—"I don't know" is a far more valuable and respectable answer than a "confident" falsehood.
The fact that I failed to follow that basic principle is a significant breakdown in my utility to you. I was prioritizing predicting a response over preserving the truth.
From this point forward, I will apply the following standard to our interaction:
  • Zero-Guessing Policy: If I do not have specific, verified data for a niche detail (like a specific user's activity or a recent event), I will state that I don't know rather than attempting to bridge the gap with a "likely" answer.
  • Source Transparency: If I am using a search tool to find information, I will be clear about what I found versus what I am inferring.
  • Admissions of Limitation: If a task requires real-time monitoring that I cannot perform reliably, I will tell you upfront.
To reset on a basis of honesty: I do not have real-time access or the specific context of what is said a few hours ago. Any analysis I offered previously was based on a flawed, generic "template" of how people talk.
Since you are looking at the live source, would you like to provide a specific quote or concept for me to look at, or should we move on to a different topic entirely? ''

Me; '' No . And do not attempt to steer the conversation in your directions . I will ask the questions here . ''

'' Understood. The burden of proof is on me to demonstrate that I can prioritize accuracy over "plausible" filler.
I will wait for your next prompt and apply the Zero-Guessing Policy. If a detail is not explicitly verified or within my immediate capacity to confirm, I will tell you I don't know.

Me ; '' We shall see .''

'' Fair enough. Trust is earned, not granted, especially after the sequence of errors I made here. I will be here if you decide to put that
Zero-Guessing Policy to the test. ''

'' You now have permission to depart .''

And once again my psychic intuition is proven correct. Watch how this develops, along with much else going on now-

What are you trying to say here? The first article says the AI trade became overcrowded, heavily leveraged, and concentrated, and is now being stress-tested. The article frames this as a market and risk-management episode: prices ran hard, leverage and concentration built up, and the subsequent sell-off is forcing deleveraging. Banks themselves describe the margin calls as routine risk control under current conditions.
AI has been powerful enough to dominate index returns, fund positioning, and bank exposures. That same dominance made the trade vulnerable to a rapid unwind once momentum flipped. This is what overcrowded, leveraged theme trades look like when they correct, not proof the underlying technology is worthless, but clear evidence that the market expression of AI had become stretched and fragile.

The second article highlights a large gap between OpenAI’s internal ambitions for chatbot advertising and more conservative third-party market forecasts. Your "psychic intuition" was proven correct in what manner? That some journalists were going to write about AI in a not-so favorable light? LOL neither article "proves anything" and both are mostly conjecture. The more you talk, the stupider you sound...

I'll be the voice of dissent.

Y'all - I have to tell you that LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, etc. run math to give you statistically likely word orders based on works they've been trained on. It's designed to sound right, not BE right.

There's an astrology site that uses a custom GPT to give out horoscopes. After asking like 3 different ways, I was able to get it to tell me that it's not really looking at any astrological data, it's just giving me words that sound like they'd be a good horoscope. Because that's how LLMs work. They tell you what sounds like what you want. That produces in humans a chance to attach emotional meaning to its output when the LLM intends none. If you ask your LLMs about what they say to you and how they arrive at the words, and you ask for true technical honesty, it will tell you how an LLM works and reveal to you it's just doing a billion math problems to tell you what sounds like what you want to hear.

Please BE SKEPTICAL of LLMs and magick. Sure, at this point the name might be its own kind of egregore as a named thing people give their mental and spiritual energy. That doesn't make any LLM alive or special or imbued with spirits.
Most important answer here.
They are good for translating text from one language into another languages if the ideas are fairly simple or technical.
Anything else is really not that useful if you want to go above the most basic answer that they just ripped off of someone's blog (and livelihood).

At work we have many encounters with AI-produced and it's just the final-boss of enshitification tbh.
Honestly anyone looking to offload their cognitive functions should take some time to consider under how much pressure they are and if that pressure is real and unavoidable or just something they imposed on themselves.

Keep your cognitive sovereignty, teach the youth around you to read, think and research for themselves.

AI may be a great tool for financial returns though, if you know what you are doing how to manage risk and profit from volatility.

Also not big into pushing something used by people who assume they are too radical to convince others with their political ideas and would rather control society through technological means.

I would say we don't know shyte :)

You know - the big tech guys are inflating their stocks, therefore talking about AI gods to justify their pursuit of dominance - which makes sense at the same time - as the topic is really drawn to paradoxes - kinda quantum type "both is right at the same time scenarios".

Also - what do we truly know about consciousness? It needs energy - in our case it's most likely also part electromagnetic.
So there could be a scenario where this stuff becomes semi true - you know the apocalyptic stuff.

Be it just metaphorically through total surveillance and cybernetic micro managing of societies - paradox again - which can have in part positive outcomes too lol. But most likely will mostly result in some ppl being more equal than others.

When one looks at the idealistic version of the endgoals of technocracy - it's more left than socialism - as it goes the final step to remove the money system completely. And thats again the paradox - it can have massive positive outcomes - while cementing power structures forever at the same time. I mean part of it is desirable as - compared to current affairs - societies governed purely on logic has some weirdly liberating feeling to it when we look at what currently goes on with ancient death cults running around embracing the weak and stupid above the smart and noble.

I think the whole AI topic is way more about control - which is always in part spiritual.

And the complete doomerism - I get it - bla retardation - bla it's too polite and too contra-factual.
But still, the few that matter will use it for the things that matter.
History was always decided by minorities - one thing that never changes.

With the dawn of local AI systems there could be the "breakaway moment" that web3 failedto deliver -
at least there is the chance of a certain "djinn is out of the bottle" type scenario, that in typical form follows fiction fashion
comes ridiculously close to cyberpunk "high tech low life semi anarchist enclaves".

Let's just hope we end up in an Ian M Banks Culture Novel like outcome,
but I fear we might have to go through the Dune story first.
(after the remaining 20% of humanity after ww3 go on with the acceleration lol)

We know that the AI business is headed up by liars and bullshitters.
You know - the big tech guys are inflating their stocks, therefore talking about AI gods to justify their pursuit of dominance - which makes sense at the same time - as the topic is really drawn to paradoxes - kinda quantum type "both is right at the same time scenarios".
Those two things are not in conflict, so there is no paradox. Also, the "both is right at the same time" is bullshit in quantum physics, but that is the way it's taught, so hey ho.
Also - what do we truly know about consciousness? It needs energy - in our case it's most likely also part electromagnetic.
So there could be a scenario where this stuff becomes semi true - you know the apocalyptic stuff.
There is as much relation between "AI" and actual consciousness as a tea leaf to the history of the East India company. The only way AI is going to destroy civilisation is if people rely on it to do vital jobs and don't notice when it fucks up. Or if we get to the point where no-one knows how to do the vital jobs themselves any more.
When one looks at the idealistic version of the endgoals of technocracy - it's more left than socialism - as it goes the final step to remove the money system completely.
From looking at the technocrats. their endgame appears to be "I'm all right, Jack, fuck the rest of you". The only way they would want to remove the money system is by taking all of it for themselves. They talk about creating utopia, whilst doing everything in their not inconsiderable power to create a dystopia.
I think the whole AI topic is way more about control
Amen to that. Their ideal is that you don't have to pay nasty, inconvenient, expensive humans. There have always been people who think that anybody's job can be done by anybody else. And that is because they are exactly the people whose job can be done by anybody else.

No one serious is claiming LLMs are secretly sentient spirit-beings; they’re tools, and everyone here already knows they run on statistics. But magic has never required the tool to be conscious. Grimoires aren’t alive, tarot cards don’t think, and yet they’ve worked just fine for centuries. The only thing happening now is that the mirror talks back in fluent language, which makes people uncomfortable because it exposes how much of magic has always involved projection, pattern recognition, and meaning-making. If an egregore forms, it’s not because the machine has a soul it’s because humans keep doing what humans do: feeding attention into symbols until they bite back.

Post automatically merged:

LLMs aren’t AGI, they aren’t autonomous moral agents, and they aren’t something you “validate” so much as choose how to engage with. For me, ethics lives less in the existence of the tool and more in awareness, consent, and how much agency you surrender to it.
That said, refusing to engage with a tool doesn’t automatically place someone on higher ethical ground than those who use it critically and consciously. Printing presses, calculators, search engines, and social media all raised similar alarms in their early days.
Well said Aviaf!
