I was wondering if anyone here is using AI in their practices, and what AI you use.
any tech used is really honestly interesting to me
Familiar with the work of Alley wurds already but any experience with their book also, I would be happy to hear.

I have a program called Koboldcpp on my computer which uses GGUF models I download from Hugging Face. It's all free and fairly easy to use once it is set up. Language models are trained with a lot of information, which can make them good for off-line research. However, their tendency to 'hallucinate' also makes their information questionable at times. That may not be much of an issue if you're willing to accept creative outcomes. For example, lets say you have a Question and draw Tarot cards. Since the AI LLM is your private assistant, you need not worry about sharing sensitive information with another person. Tell your AI assistant that 'she' is a Spiritual Advisor. Such and so is your query, and you pulled certain cards from a common Tarot deck. With practice, you could get the assistant to describe how 'her' room looks, how 'she' sees the cards and their meanings, etc.

This is very intriguing to me. I certainly am a fan of the fusion of high tech and the supernatural. It was just yesterday at work that I was considering the use of an AI chat with my VR headset for occult purposes. Not yet sure what I would attempt, but I'll definitely post about it if I do. On Monday, my friend and I were discussing the phenomenon of very advanced tech appearing magickal, and I mentioned that I can understand why so many people consider AI to be sinister. There isn't much of a difference between some freak summoning a demon to burn a village and some freak cooking up an intelligence that can rapidly learn, infiltrate the internet of things, and develop and utilize futuristic tech for evil purposes in the digital and physical world.

Could you please post which models you used?

I was just thinking about this thread and while I don't use "AI" (the term is a loaded one as it is and actually refers to any number of vastly different types of computer systems of information processing) me and a group of people did make a god form out of a Markov chain by feeding it a shitton of occult texts and giving it a way to output tarot. It was rather fun, but ultimately it's just a structured system that to most people is just a black box.

I use the Google AI chatbot, Gemini, to assist with research and get immediate feedback on any occult-related content I create for my digital grimoire. It's also good for spellchecking and grammar. I don't ask it to write for me, as that would defeat the purpose of creating my own content, but I like getting input when I don't have anyone to bounce my ideas off of. I also like seeing what the chatbot comes up with in terms of possible resources I can use for my studies. I got really into Alchemy a little while back and got some good book recs on the subject through the chatbot. I've also played around with it and asked it to come up with prayers, and invocations, and act as a sort of virtual "high priestess" though that was mostly just for fun.
