Anyone have no bs info on the use of crystals?

For me, crystals help me to take away headaches and give me energy. I charge them with sunlight and clean them often. There is always one under my pillow when I sleep. They often are gonn for healing. I feel energetic in the morning....you have to read a good book on Crystals to understand them.

ou which ones do you use for headaches? or does it not matter? do you just ask it to then place it on your head for a few minutes?

This doesn't rly tell me much. How do I measure energy? How long does it store energy? Does the size, shape, and smoothness correlate to its ability to store energy? What kind of energy?

I met one guy who used the crystals to train his psychic sensitivity blindfolded. He would for example take 4-5 crystals and learn to feel the different energies of each with his hands, then train until he could pick out each crystal blindfolded by just recognising their energies.

I've done something similar with sensing other persons energies blindfolded during a medium seminar and it works in the same way.

When it comes to different energies during healing, the most powerful I've encountered was from a lady who put crystals on certain parts on the body and then sending energy from her hands (not touching the body of course). So having felt lots of different types of energies during the last decades, the lady who did crystal healing still stands out as the most powerful.

Another use I've encountered with crystals is the normal quartz pendulum, used for both divination and for beginners a long piece of quartz with a tip is useful for just running slowly up and down your hands and body to train your sensitivity and sending energy through it. Magick wands with different types of crystals and different tips can be used in the same manner.

Those are just for some basic uses. Later when doing planetary magick, making mojo bags that you regularly charge on an altar and other stuff becomes more interesting.

Crystals are very popular with new agers but can anyone tell me if crystals have actual uses and what those are etc etc, i recently came into owning some through a friend and most of the info i can find doesnt go any deeper then "cleanse them ) charge them )))" and is generally unhelpful to me. I know some folk use them in wands to amplify energy and such. Was wondering if any forumites here use them at all?

Depends of what you want to do. Some crystals are use for cleaning energies some for protection and spells and others for healing and readings.

I wouldn't say that's it. The correspondences of stones were discovered through trial and error, as well as practitioners' ability to sense/"speak" to the spirit of the stone. Believing a stone has XYZ property without testing it and trying to hone your senses won't take you anywhere, it's more complex than that. People underestimate how large the collective conscious has to be to have an effect.

I have many different crystals, I've just never felt anything when viewing or handling them

I mostly use crystals as something to represent a planet or energy I'm working with. I don't really use crystals as such but if I'm working with say Ophiel, Olympic Spirit of Mercury I'll sit a Citrine on the altar or table of art with a couple other things I might associate with mercury
