Anyone heard of the Mazzenes or Massenes (not the Essenes)?

I was talking with a friend the other day, who showed me a very old Grimoire, forget the authors name.
I was then read to about the history of darkness, according to the book Missing Sorcery.

It all relates to the Necronomicon or Sumerian beliefs, and Im sure is related to Zoroaster or Ahriman.


Anyone experienced with this system?

How is it bollocks exactly?
I know about the Essenes, and this book that was read to me by a friend was not. .. I repeat not .. the essenes.
This was a middle eastern sect and relates to Kingu.

Necronomicon is recent fiction though.
