Hi, I am quite new to this site. But I love the community that is built here. I’ve always been pulled to magick and I recently just started learning and practicing. I just wanted to get suggestions on reading material and such for beginners!

It really depends on what sort of magick you are interested in but for a true newbie, a book that goes over Protection magick is a great start.

I can recommend Jason Miller's book on "Protection & Reversal Magick".

I don't really work with attraction love magic because it often masks or feeds into illusions. If it is the road you really want to go down, you might want to explore basic manifestation techniques like The Secret.

If you are looking to regain control over your mind you may find either a meditation practice or a ritual system the like the golden dawn useful. I have ADHD so regular meditation doesn't always work for me, but I have been able to get my mind to go into silence from doing rituals. Damien Echols does a good job teaching the basics. Thats really all you need to get started.
