Hello!
I am struck between the similarity of many occult practices/rituals and music, as both are often derived from patterning/geometry and applying these things towards a certain end (think scales, tritones, wheel of fifths, etc). In other words, I find that they have effectively the same exigence, albeit applied differently within each respective context. I am very interested in the potential that combining these arts could hold within my own practice (as I am a musician). Does anyone know of any books or scholarship on how to incorporate music into ritual/casting/etc? (I'm well aware that lots of songs contain allusions to the occult or work well within its context, but I am specifically after guidance on how to use and play music in these practices oneself.)
