Calling a recently dead practitioner to learn from him

What would you think about the idea to call (summon) a recently died sorcerer, to learn the Craft from him. (I was in contact with him, and he was indeed very advanced, as he was still alive, but never could afford to learn from because of his absurdly high prices for students).

What makes you think you would not have to pay something now though, if he would not teach you for free then, it is unlikely he would now?

You can summon him and see, as you'll never know if he'll be willing to help you unless you try. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain if he's willing to help you out. And whatever the outcome is, please post your result here in the forum.

How recently dead? I believe I saw on another forum that the very recently dead should be allowed time to process their transition before reaching out to them as ancestors, etc.
