Hi, first of all thank you for your time and sorry if this is not the right Thread for this question.

I ask a Tarrot reader the following question:
What will my life and career look like one year from now?
The result was:
Cards: PAS, 10S, PAP
Card Pulls
PAS: Page of Swords
10S: Ten of Swords
PAP: Page of Pentacles

Can someone help me reading this cards. Please.
Thanks in advance...

Hold on now, the Page of Swords is telling you to be persistent through the coming difficulties represented by the Ten of Swords. Also, Swords represent air, so it is also telling you to keep your wits about you and focus on using your intellect instead of your emotions. Remain reasonable and act intelligently. Also, keep in mind the difference between the Ten of Swords and the Tower. Something may come to an end (such as your job), but it won't be as traumatic as the Tower.

The Page of Pentacles represents some financial gain at the end, and new opportunities.

That's my interpretation, for whatever it's worth. Best of luck with the difficulties.

Did the Tarot reader offer an interpretation?

I should have added that nothing is carved in stone. The reading represents the most probable outcomes based on the patterns of energy that are in motion. Since you're a magician, you can always work to change them through magic. I.e., lay out the cards again during a ritual, but replace the Ten of Swords with a more favorable card.

Denning and Phillips wrote an entire book on this subject, although it's been out of print. They were ceremonial magicians, so they wrote about designing elaborate ceremonial rituals to do this.

On the other hand, more recently, others have suggested that it can be as simple as charging your new, favorable card like a sigil.

Whatever you do, you should use some method of divination, such as a pendulum, to make sure you are on the right track. Once divination tells you that it's working, start repeating the ritual every day to lock in the energy of your replacement card.

It's hard to know what to recommend because your circumstances are vague. But the more people that would be affected, the more energy you need to move. For example, if the business you work for might close down, a lot of people would be affected. That would mean calling for the big guns, such as D&P-style planetary magic rituals for card replacement.

On the other hand, if it just means getting your name off of a layoff list, then simpler methods would do.

Or, you could just be fatalistic and go with the flow of the original cards. Persevere, keep your eyes on the prize just like the Page of Pentacles, and come out the other side in good shape.

These three cards mean you begin to voice your dissatisfaction at work. This gradually builds into a brutally honest wake up call, a moment where you recognize that you’ve been in denial and holding onto a situation at work long past its expiration date. And your focus shifts toward building a more steady routine.
