The Greater Key of Solomon (Clavicula Salomonis), the Solomonic grimoire of ceremonial magic: Solomon's prologue to his son Rehoboam, the conditions and preparation of the operator, the planetary pentacles, and the ritual operations. This is the Greater Key, a different work from the Lemegeton or Lesser Key (the Ars Goetia and its 72 spirits), its companion, not a part of it.

Transcribed from scratch from an 18th-century Latin manuscript (Bibliothèque nationale de France, Gallica), public domain, not from any modern copyrighted edition (Mathers, Peterson and the rest). This is that one manuscript recension, not every variant of the work; I say so rather than overclaim.

The download is our full edition: every folio's facsimile beside my diplomatic Latin transcription and an English translation, folio by folio, with [reconstructions] and [?] marked where the manuscript is damaged. Public domain (18th-c. manuscript); my transcription and translation are CC-BY 4.0. The free web reader has the same, page by page.
