This is a forum, not social media. It's rigidly structured and segmented, and this is how people communicated on the net after the bulletin boards and newsgroups but before Facebook, Insta, etc. came along. Moderation here is strict and swift, commit or report a rule violation, and the corresponding sanction will not be long in coming. Read the Forum's Rules, aways think before you post, post in the correct section, refrain from off-topic banter, and you'll be fine.

Tbh in 2026 I personally can't find anywhere online that is open to the public that is great to post on and busy for meeting ppl. I haven't been back on FB because I can't face going back to that site in general, and Reddit and Discord all seem slow and very mixed quality. All the other forums like WF seem to have pretty much died in the last 10/15 years since I was last active online.
Maybe there are private groups full of enlightened ppl, exchanging profound thoughts and having a great time, but publicly I'm not really seeing much.
