Any daemonlators on here? Have been involved with daemonolatry for around 12 years and it would be nice to get involved in some discussions.

You're definitely in the right place. There are lots of people here who practice.

Any conversational starters you would like to open a discussion with?

Here are a few of mine for you; What is your preferred method of contact? Do you do ceremonial or intuitive, trance, other?
Do you feel that daemonolatry has changed your morals and ethics? Do you feel like your morals and ethics are different from the norm?
Any advice for someone starting Daemonolatry?

It [daemonolatry] is an interesting field. How do you feel about the evolution from ceremonial grimoires to modern practice?

whew - thats a lot of questions. Answer what you want, ignore the rest. Do what thou wilt.

I have over two decades of active experience with them, and they are a part of my everyday life from my young age. Although, I never worshipped them nor ever will -I'd disappoint them at this point if I would start doing it now-, they are one of the kindest and most valuabled beings I've got around.

I'm always eager to hear others' experiences, lessons, conclusions, shared moments and bonds with the Infernal, especially if these comes from their own actual experiences, and not trying to discuss me the content of the books they has been digging. That frankly bores me.

So, what's the matter? How did you get introduced to Demonolatry? Who do you worked with first and how did you 'find' them? What are your most memorable experiences, or more valuable lesson you've learned from them? Which Infernal are you the most attached to and why?

I've just started the path recently. I have been working with Vassago. He has been an awesome entity so far. He has helped show me things that I have not seen before. He has been great.

I didn’t discover demonolatry through books, so it’s hard to share my experiences because most discussions focus on the Goetia. People rarely talk about Demons outside of that framework, even though there are a ton out there.

The Demons I work with aren’t the ones you can look up in a book. They found me, starting with the first one I worked with. Looking back, that happened because these Demons specialize in vengeance. At the time, I didn’t even realize I needed that in my life. I was being bullied and honestly didn’t think I would ever take action. But those first Demons were exactly what I needed then. They helped me push back and taught my bullies a lesson.

Demonolatry hasn’t changed my morals or ethics. What it has taught me is how to set boundaries with other people and how to communicate my boundary statements more clearly.

My most memorable experience is how much more respect I get from the people around me. Before, they’d ask me to do this or that, or help with something, and they were taking advantage of me. That stopped. You could feel the shift in the air. People treated me differently, with more respect, and they stopped asking me to do things for them.

I’d already worked with spirits, so it didn’t feel strange when my Demons showed up. They’re also not the same. My Demons are of different types, and it’s been interesting learning about their types.

If I have any advice for people who want to start, it’s to vet the Demons who come to you. Not everyone that shows up will have your best interests in mind.

What I am hearing in some of this thread is only aspect similar to Demonolatry, not Demonolatry itself. Demonolatry is a system, a system with specific rituals and formats, along with the concept of relational work with demons.

Like @Saint and @Keldan I work relationally with demons. A pathless path. No system. I dont not consider that Demonolatry, as it would probably come off as disrespectful to actual Demonolaters who work within that system, and also just be flat out untrue.

I will admit that the relational aspect of working with demons came from Demonolatry and works extremely well for me personally. And that framework was instrumental as hell in my initial work divorcing the Abrahamic framework in my life. I do not do all the rituals in Demonolatry, not do I follow that system other than what I already mentioned.

I have friends who are strict(ish) Demonolaters, and yeah what I am doing is different enough. We do meet in the middle and share notes on demons, and experiences. (Then again, who actually only works one system anymore? lol)
