Do you listen to music while performing magic(k) or a ritual?

I love the hymn to the Sun song from this opera by Philip Glass
Speaking of musicians & composers who incorporate their studies & practice of the occult in their music, it is a most to mention Stevie Nicks

Anything by Scriabin is also a good option for meditation and introspection in occult themes, since he also studied occult arts and incorporate in some of his musical compositions.

Scelsi has similar views but depersonalized meaning compared to Scriabin in their approach to transforming consciousness with music.

I never use to use music, but over the past couple of weeks I feel that music has helped my concentration. I've been listening to a lot of waltz's/classical music and I often get drawn back to Philip Glass.

Technically I guess I do, but I make my own music. I sing my spells to cast them. All the songs I write are rune-poems. I use old english poetic structure and a special skaldic meter called "galdarag" (dimeter couplets and trimeter full-lines that alliterate the head-stave with the on-staves, along with the use of "kennings" and echo lines) and the late anglo-saxon futhorc row, to "spell" the words that are the enchantments themselves. I try to make them sound alluring, enticing, and provocative when I sing the poems I come up with to evoke or invoke the power of various spirits I have come into contact with.

Sadly I do not have a youtube video to share my songs with everyone though lol. To be fair though, I don't sing these songs around other people usually. In fact, most people that know me don't even know I can sing or that I write poetry at all. Since writing poetry and singing is something I learned specifically to do traditional witchcraft, I never use it for anything else.
