does anyone else believe in the idea that what you eat say specific organ for example helps that organ in your body. Saying that eating raw brains makes me think clearer and enhanced cognition, i think this is because the nutrients in that brain is what was needed to power it so when you eat that all those specific key nutrients go on to power your brain. Some people believe eating eyes helps vision i havnt had eyes yet tho personally. But this is why i believe blood is a super food because it carries all of those nutrients to those organs so it has the highest nutrient content of any food. I eat raw veal brains and lamb brains.

What does this have to do with the occult? 😂

Thankfully I don't need a bigger.... NVM. 🤣

I do not subscribe to this thinking at all. The human body can get the vitamins and minerals it needs without needing to match body parts for body parts and then eat them raw. The idea that eating a particular organ somehow gives that same organ a special boost just because you ate it is pretty goofy to me.

There may be legitimate nutritional reasons to eat certain organ meats. That's an entirely different argument from “I ate a brain, therefore my brain gets smarter.”

You do you, champ. As they say, it's only stupid if it doesn't work.

Darwin will sort out the rest. 😂

i wanted to know if occult members believed in the idea of raw organs i think theres real energy to be gained from it. and the science behind it helping cognitive function is that the brain needs alot of animal fats to work properly and brain is all animals fats so you get it now also you cant get sick from it thats a myth.

Wrong website. This is not a JRPG or anime website.

But if you know this then....

Da fuck? No! Stop! Just no.

And people wonder why I'm such an Grim Trad magician killjoy.

The actual traditions of Western magic include Hermeticism, the Solomonic grimoire traditions, Renaissance Neoplatonism (and then later Thelema - but much of the 20th century cluster fuckery of batshit started there too.).

Traditional pre-20th century Western magic magic operates through contacting and communicating with spirits through using a language of correspondence, symbolic analogy, myth, sympathy, intention, geometry, timing, and invocation / praise songs. -NOT cannibalism or physical consumption of human organs to gain anime "mana points" to level RPG stats or shoot magic electricity Bullshido from your finger.

Stop paying attention to media brain rot - anime, anime, gaming, and horror and fantasy fiction. All fun things. I work in video games, but i dpont confuses them with the Grimoires.

Amassive chunk of what passes for "the occult" or "magic" on the internet today comes straight out of dark fantasy media, shonen anime (Jujutsu Kaisen is a huge offender here with eating cursed fingers), video games, and horror fiction. So now younger or hyper-chronically online people , and the seriously mentally ill, frequently conflate RPG mechanics where eating a monster heart grants +10 Strength with actual historic Wstern Magic.

I dunno, whenever I eat sausage, I feel smarter, but I never thought to ask what was really ground up in them. Guess I'll have to research...

But when I hear of eating brains, I always think of this, one of my childhood faves:

Even though his posts are a bit crazy, i´ll try to give a serious answer to this question: actually there is something like that, though i know more about the doctrine of signatures from plants then that. But if you look at the Corpus Hippocraticum, they already healed "like with like" similia similbus, in antique times. For example things like eating liver against liver problems. And also in ayurvedic texts you find things like eating testicles to boost your sexual performance

But i like the idea of Paracelsus more, who says that nature/god shaped the plants in a way that you can see from them what they heal, like walnuts for the brain, carrots for the eyes, tomatoes for the heart and so on

I've heard about that. Though it might seem logical at the surface, the brain as food is just food and the body uses it as the body deems fit. Physically that doesn't work, otherwise brain-eaters would be all Einsteins.

I like to eat organs, in Europe it's not frowned upon that much... Occasionally liver, when I can, I go for chicken hearts, love the texture of that meat. Though I cook it all, even meat from a good butcher can have a parasite hiding in it waiting to get into your guts. (with raw meat eating I hope you deworm yourself properly, parasites are an issue issue rarely spoken about)

eating uncooked brains is a good way to conjure up infernal entities that go by the names listeria , salmonella, and kuru. 😷

As such, eating cooked brains is no big deal, my mum used to make them with eggs and button mushrooms. Historically, peasants would sell high-value muscle meat while eating the rest of the animal themselves. To answer your question about blood, blood sausage is still eaten in many European countries. I once had some visitors from the Philippines, so invited them to a hearty meal of blood sausage with onions and potatoes, only to hear them remark that they had a similar dish at home. Another traditional dish around here is a ragout cooked from lungs, hearts and other organs, there's tripe soup in Central and Eastern countries, Leopold Blum enjoying kidneys for breakfast in Ulysses, the list goes on and on.

I don't think it's a good idea to eat all this stuff raw though, apart from the awful taste.

@HoldAll absolutely! You will pry my black pudding from my cold dead hands :) But raw - nope!

As far as occult goes, there's no reason why you can't make any meal part of a ritual - I hear it's very popular in Christianity :)

I feel like the fact that you're eating brains and can't tell if you're any smarter (as evidenced by this thread asking us for validation) is the proof that it doesn't make you any smarter.

Perhaps it's chicken brains. Or maybe trout brains. As a fly fisherman I pride myself on occasionally being able to outsmart a creature with a brain smaller than a pea. :D

Eating a specific organ imo doesn't necessarily help you with the said organ. I could eat chicken livers yet that doesn't mean I will cure the fat liver syndrome for example. It would just serve as taste pleasure and that would be all, let's say with some small other health benefits.

Also, stop eating raw veal(???) brains and lamb brains. Cook lamb brains, and any food for that matter that needs to be cooked, else you are in for the risk of getting various diseases and bacteria, thing which no healthy aspiring / practicing occultist should ever want to experiment.

i believe that parasites arent harmful the common ones anyways something where to get into your brain thats different there is a belief that parasites only appear if toxins are in the body and in some cases make your digestion and body healthier

No problem. Your belief is your belief, not my business. I thought it would be important to chip in with some necessary advice about potential health risks of eating raw / uncooked organs.

May the Universe bless you 🙏
