Like a doomsday calendar of our very own, tomorrow we finally dip our toes into the beginnings of true dystopian fiction.
We have reached the end point of consumption of resources versus the pace and time at which the World generates more
-putting our beloved little civilization on fast track to the Mad Max universe.
The day was calculated to be tomorrow, as in from then onward we are burning on borrowed time. There are quite a few countries
that have already used up their calculated resources for the year, some as early as the first couple of months at the start of the year.

So.
Start stacking up on that toilet paper, try and get as much water and fuel as you can get your paws on, begin collecting every-single-bottlecap
in case we switch to the fallout universe as the nuclear season finale is still not off the table
But since the worst case scenario death toll is going to be slightly above average than usual it is also completely viable
to just, not care about it at all.

Is it really gonna get that bad? I dunno, apparently one little Ukraine being on fire prevents half of Africa to eat so it might actually be that bad

but the question we are all now asking.. should we start to worry yet?

Start stacking up on that toilet paper
I won't fall for this hysteria again.
I sure am always trying to stock up on some stuff(and incentivize my family to do the same) but I don't have the money, the space nor the mental health to deal with something like this right now.

So I'll keep the small stock I have and try to-for once-think with a more positive mind in order to not succumb to the "doom and gloom".
Besides, humans are more resilient than we think, we're just so used to a life of comfort.

I think it would be remiss not to be "somewhat concerned", peak oil has come and gone a while ago, so yeah, a couple of strategically packed "go" bags don't hurt, when I say strategic I mean it. Of course the "rare earth" type minerals needed to produce all the server farms "GPU's, CPU's", and user displays being exhausted will put us close medieval internet capacity possibly in less than a century? The facts and figures / timeline for this I had seen elsewhere, I'm not sure if it would be breaking WF rules to include that here. Not All of our "Tech" will disappear at once, we'll still be able to produce some stuff for a while after IC's become impossible like Guns, Blades, et al, go figure.

...again?! :ROFLMAO:

i wasn't actually advising ninjas to do that just a bit of sarcasm
i mean of all the things, why did toilet paper get the short stick it didn't hurt no one!

also yes i agree it's the comfort, and it's various magnitudes. Im fine with chewing crickets if cannibalism is completely off the table
yes sir. Drop me anywhere in the world im prioritizing the nasty because it's always in supply.

it does give me reason to pause, since there is a lot to unpack there. For one the powers that be obviously know about it
and then some but take no action, so either it is unavoidable, a scam, or they already have plans on fixing it once the time is right

healthy land is getting to a point of having it's worth in gold, water and other stuff is on the down low...
it's not looking good. It all reminds me of that English show- Utopia.

COVID and a bit after it was peak time hysteria worldwide.
It's still too recent to forget what happened.

why did toilet paper get the short stick it didn't hurt no one!
No idea.Someone somewhere started talking about shortage of toilet paper and that ended up becoming a self-fulfilled prophecy, people went en masse to "save" TP to the point that they ended up creating the shortage.

they already have plans on fixing it once the time is right
Or they expect the population to "die off" until it gets to a more "manageable number" and then they can come up like feudal lords with all their power and supplies. But this is starting to sound like something out of a conspiracy theory so I'll stop here.

Bill Gate$ et al, are buying Prime American Farmland at a "Disturbing" rate, also there are concerns that are making it possible for the Rest of that Prime American farmland to get into Chinese hands! I think Gate$ has two companies in production making Bug Burgers Now! My wife told me a while back that she saw a TV clip (Fox?) about Insect pseudo-meat being tested in English schools, or they were Trying to. YUCK!!!

But this is starting to sound like something out of a conspiracy theory so I'll stop here
that's exactly what i meant. God knows i don't do the theory cha cha but it is pretty crazy how the knowledge (or suspicion)
that the world powers would not stop tragic events before/during/the moment they can but capitalize/profit off the damage - makes someone
a loonie to ignore.
The game of "if you talk they'll do bad stuff to you" is getting so absurd because we all know these things already but act as if it's not the case

or at least that was the procedure so far, lately im feeling a lot more rage from the people and ofc i think that is a good thing.

Prime American Farmland
yes that's what i was referring to. There is also that other guy who figured out the American House bubble would break
and got stupid rich off of it, the movie said he was now buying up water, scary af.

there has been a "limited amount of insect contamination" in food produce for a while now, you can't stop them all
but whole burgers is new. I've had the same yuck factor when i first heard about it but facts are facts.
they grow faster, they reproduce in larger numbers, and so on and so forth. If we were a robotic/logical race we would have
profited from insects like that, and then some more.

also yeah, some of the local tycoons have started stealing Gates' idea about the farmland but that shit wont hold here

there is also the ltitle matter of the special war lol
apparently my horde of a people is paying groceries more than pretty much everyone else, and on top of that
all the benefits and government assisted orgasms are directed away from the farms and local produce, what
on God's not-long-to-be green Earth is the play behind that? like yeah someone paid someone else but it's so dumb
you can't help but assume there's a bigger play.
And i see that in the region as well, every farmer everywhere is up with pitchforks and torches like it's the dark ages.
i don't get the end game, that's what irritates me. Ofc it could all be simple Conglomerate type capitalism trash,
simple, stupid, and self destructive. seems to fit our current MO

Were the Hell is the "Brotherhood of Witches, Warlocks and Sorcerer's" while all this fucking shit is going on, and they're after the 2nd Amendment too, I have REAL ISSUES with THAT! (as he polishes all his guns)

One is reminded of the old geezer in "Waterworld." Down there in the bowels of the Exxon Valdex, he looks as a lit match falls into the lake of oil and ignites, "Thank god!" Sort of an anti-cosmic allegory there. Ecologically, the near-extinction (complete?) of humans might be the best thing for the planet. Indeed, if Musk's wet dream of colonizing space is even a remote possibility, it might be well for worlds without number. The species took a wrong turn somewheres and we seem locked into the strategy of squeezing the world like a lemon.

Has anyone seen the television Environmental Commercial of the indigenous American in the canoe as he pulls up to the shore of the lake, camera pans around showing incredible trash Everywhere. Camera pans back, and Close up of the Indian (I believe he is / was an actual tribal Chief) with tears streaming as he locks eyes with the camera! Man, That Moved Me! I still Feel it, some Years later, Absolutely Heart Rending! That really puts you into the adage of Walking a Mile in the Shoes of Those People, (emphasis Mine). This may not mean anything to anyone not resident in the U.S. though. The Fragility of our Home is Unmistakable, terribly Scary!

I meant to add that I don't believe this was was shown anywhere but the U.S. Similar things may have been created elsewhere?
