So wait, if I remember my quick dive into Egyptian stuff, you either have 5 or 9 surviving components after physical death. In that belief system, everyone does, so this is not specific to any vampire idea or to needing to take extra Qi from anywhere to do it. So I don't see what your connecting idea is there.

Core Parts Surviving Death:
  • Ka (Life Force): A "double" of the person, it required food and drink offerings in the tomb.
  • Ba (Personality/Soul): Often depicted as a human-headed bird, it could travel between the underworld and the tomb.
  • Ren (Name): A person lived as long as their name was spoken or written.
  • Shuyet (Shadow): Represented personal characteristics.
  • Ib (Heart): The seat of emotion and memory, weighed against the feather of truth.
  • Akh (Immortal Self): The unified, glorified spirit that emerged after the successful transformation of other elements.
For the soul to survive, the physical body (Khat) was preserved via mummification, acting as a home for the Ka and Ba.

Which type of Qi are you then using?
And why would that keep any of the individual components bound together and keep you from being purged and eaten by Ammit?
Are you skipping Anubis and the judging part somehow?
I'm not into either the vampire aspect, nor do I think that the Egyptians had some special handle on what happens at death, but opinions are like aholes, we all have one and they all stink.
I can personally see that I have quite the fractal of parts in my being and existence, but these don't appear to match anything in the Egyptian belief systems. I also know that we quite likely all have different paths and worlds that we belong to at our core, and these are certainly not home to me.
