[Opinion] Energy Battery

i have 2 ideas, first i wanted to make a talisman to harvest the negative energy people project and then transfer that energy to another talisman that functions as a battery to just hold the energy until needed. this was just a thought that and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on this

I find that talismans intended for long-term work often needed recharging or cleansing to be used at full capacity.

Instead, I opt for servitors or a linking sigil. Give them a vessel where they can pour their harvested and filtered energy into. Just my two cents based on experience.

Thanks a lot for the reply, having a servitor do the work is easier. Since you have some experience what do you usually use this filtered energy for?

I think outsourcing the work to a servitor can make sense, but it does not automatically clean anything up or remove you from risk.

If your own energy needs maintenance when stored in a talisman, then negative energy would need maintenance too. Adding a servitor adds another layer, not a free solution. The servitor’s energy, purpose, boundaries, and condition also need to be maintained. Otherwise you are just playing with fire.

How would you know whether the negative energy you’re harvesting has started to affect or corrupt the servitor? And in practical terms, how would you know before things started going sideways?

What i wanted to do was to harvest people negative energy that they project onto me, and try to condense it and store it. The servitor is something i need to look into more i agree, but the main idea still stands.
the negative energy would be used as offerings to entities who like that or transmuted and utilized to power certain spells. I plan on keeping this very small scale for experimentation only and when the rough parts of it have been smoothed out then maybe i could go big with it. Transmuting negative energy into other forms is it's own problem but that's why im keeping it small until i have perfected it enough to take bigger risks.

How do you handle the cleansing/filtering aspect? That is if you are also collecting mixed/negative energies...

thanks for sharing, Im pleased to know my idea is actually been done before. Does your servitor ever get affected by the negative energy it's filtering in the crystal? If you don't mind sharing what other uses have you done with this saved up energy?

Not that I have noticed. I may need to clarify though: I don't let it "run around" but send it off once a month with a specific target. When it returns it has ti pass through the Crystal to get back to its own seal inside the housing I made.
Its own seal gets anointed once a week with a special oil I made and I make and burn a candle to it once a month.
