Exposing the heartless and dictator-like SkullTraill

I know no matter how much I post about him and his toxic website, he will just resort to removing my posts and silence me through bans, just watch. So now that he's locking my posts and not allowing the masses to speak up, I shall target him with exposing. I came back because I know he's secretly losing it and I want to expose him more, IF he can handle it.

So lets go over his agendas and horrible past actions with this post:

1. Banning for petty reasons
SkullTraill is notorious for banning people for petty reasons. I have seen him ban people over basically nothing, like linking an article, going off topic, framing innocent posts as trolling/low quality posting, speaking other languages and more. Why does he resort to harsh punishments like a month-long ban over small stuff like this? You find out for yourself, my opinion: he's just a horrible and bad moderator.

2. Harsh and dodgy rules
This ties in to the first section, breaking any of these rules even by mistake results in a 1+ month ban which happened to me myself, was a mistake. I was then sent a crying princess picture when I complained about this by another moderator, deliberately to trigger me then I lost it.

So here are more of those dodgy and weird rules-

- Linking an article by mistake or not? Why should an educational website have such a rule, it comes with no benefits. I understand NSFW/dangerous websites being prohibited but knowledge? C'mon! Especially linking to other forums comes with severe penalties. Figure out.

- Accidentally spoke another language? I understand keeping it only English only, but punishing for posting ONCE in another language is too harsh.

- Made an perfectly innocent post or tagged as a troll? I am not sure what goes through his head when he punishes people for accidently simply asking innocent questions. He also seems to tag people as trolls for innocent posts, paranoia maybe?

Going off topic? I understand removing off topic comments, however a month long ban for simply posting a single comment going off topic is too harsh.

Speaking up against his dictator-like moderation?
The signs of a dictator is that they silence the people and do not allow discussions against their punishments/rules/actions. He actively punishes those who speaks up against him.

3. Lack of professionalism and use of vulgar language
He calls people, idiotic like my previous exposing post, has flairs he puts on people like my "evil and rotten" flair, and my dunce - everyone knows you're a dumbass flair. He insults his own users of his website, says much about him.

I can mention more but its been some time since I used this website extensively, but these 3 are constant on this website and ruins the whole experience. You will realize and notice all this and more the longer you stay on this website, this is what I have seen and many others. Stay and you will see for yourself.

Your turn SkullTraill and mods. Continue your dictator-like actions and remove my post/ban me or let the masses speak up. May or may not be my last post.

I completely understand the moderator not wanting links to other forums here.
We are the ones who come here and are just active, or silently read, and the man puts effort, soul and I'm sure a lot of money into the promotion of the site. Why should there be free advertising of other people's resources? This forum is very cool, it is the most understandable, even for me, it is intuitively beautifully designed, topics, subtopics. When I was looking for English-speaking forums, I chose this one. And if I came here, then I must accept the rules of this forum, as if ‘in someone else's monastery with its charter do not go’ As for the dirt, and spam in topics off-topic, let's maintain the level of the forum on the stage of ‘here are smart people’, and really want that in a particular topic, there was the necessary information, not a bunch of water, and you leaf through the branch in search of an answer. I must admit, SkullTraill and I are not the best of buds. And I have certainly questioned him a few times. However, him being portrayed as a dictator is quite far. I won't go so far as to praise him, but if he ever gets his aerse to China like he keeps threatening, I'll buy him a bottle of erguotou, the local rice vodka. Red Star, the cheap stuff. 250ml is all. Given that it's 75% alcohol, he can decide for hisself whether this represents gratitude or blackest magick.

Actually, though, no one is keeping his eye on the ball here. Two considerations: 1) when is this forum used?; 2) how should it be used?

1) This forum is used during one's free time.
2) in the gig-economy of the 21st centurn anno domini, every available instant of free time is fodder for monetization.
The real question here is how can griping about S.T. be made profitable in a win-win windfall for us all?

I propose a sword 'n sorcery book series. In our take, the Arch Sorceror Skull Troll sits in his vast, vast library atop Castle Skulljob (?). Reckoning with a blood-dipped athame the number of magic-kin (magichen?) souls he holds enthralled in Wizard Vale below. Meantime, in the bowels of the castle, our hero Xenofriend lies in the grip of the dread thousand-year Ban Spell. Then...(you guys can spin plots based on this.)

This could be bigger than that punk-a** Harry Potter, I am telling you. Y'all just gotta make peace and get with the merchandising.

On the other hand, SkullTraill is quite conscientious about keeping the site up and running well. He offered to fix a tech problem I had viewing photos. Given our personal history, this was commendable on his part.

And no, I am not turning toady. LIke Mr. Dante says in the old flick, Clerks II: "You don't go a**-to-mouth!"

Yeah I got problems with his moderation style but you get quite a bit of fair warning, even someone who talks to him isn’t immune, so some of the titles don’t really fit, I do t think he really plays favorites or anything, he’s if you are new you will be suspect to a bit more scrutiny, “thus is life”

however this isn’t to defend him, yes he can be a prick.

but… he runs the site. If it wasn’t for him there wouldn’t be a WF now (look at WF history)

as a side note Skull.. when someone posts something in philosophy there should be an “opinion” option and not take things so seriously it’s philosophy!

But all this is to say, yeah the rules maybe should be more lax about website links and such as we should be growing in knowledge.

however if someone wants to downvote a post or you get a warning for something no big deal, your life shouldn’t revolve around the internet.

I'm not disagreeing with you but I'm not agreeing with you, I am a fan of paraconsistent logic, yes there are things that can be improved, but is he a heartless dictator? No.

and I’m not saying that to please Skull, in all seriousness if I don’t meet someone in person I don’t know them from a can of paint. Seriously I can pick up a rock and like that rock more than them because it’s tangibles I just think you’re being over critical. We all have stuff going on in our lives and this website is just part of it, it shouldn’t revolve around it.

Yep, opinions are like assholes, everyone’s got em’. Also large groups tend to go with crowd consensus rather than think for themselves. It’s easy to call anyone a dictator over any little slight of injustices in one’s own perspective and then just jump on.

I think Skulltrailed should be praised not bashed. The man is doing so much. He has built this wonderful community, he's keeping it running, maintaining. The site is gaining popularity.

Soo.. would you suggest like an office day pizza party?… or more of a thread balancing this one out where people admit what they like about wf, how it’s helped them and and recognition of the work he put in?

This place is pretty lax compared to most social media. I would probably be here a lot less if it was "dictator-like."

This is the most I’ve ever been apart of anything online, but my wife as been admin/modding for decades. These sites can usually be placed in 1 of 2 camps. Either they have a “soup-nazi” who pisses off ~2% of the community constantly, you read posts similar to this one, and the site continues to thrive. Or mods cave and give into that small vocal group and then that group turns the site into a dumpster fire that consists of that 2% running about bitching about each other (cause bitchy people are going to bitch) and the other 98% go inactive and a new site is born somewhere else to feel the void. Running a forum isn’t fun and it isn’t a power trip. It’s a pain in the ass and this cycle has been repeating itself for as long as the internet has been around.

Yes something like that. A post about what people have gained from the WF, how the site & community has helped them get further in the spiritual explorations. I am not sure but perhaps this already exists somewhere. I did dig deep into the sections over here and found many old interesting posts.
