I do enjoy getting into a flow/meditative state while walking and running. For running, it's important not to stop running, or the meditative state breaks.

I also don't see mentioned, cooking. Especially something that I've made a lot before, or following a very specific recipe. Which includes brewing, which, to me, is very meditative.
thrilled that you brought up cooking. for me lately its been about coordinating multiple dishes so that they're all done correctly, on-time and served together. sometimes I'll wake up on a sunday morning and start dinner immediately by, eg, throwing some ribs in the smoker and then the rest of the day is about figuring out "okay, those need 6 hours plus a rest so they go in at noon, then I have some down time where I can make a fresh loaf of bread, I can work out while the bread is rising if I set an alarm to take a break in the middle and punch it down before the second rise, and right as I'm done with my workout it'll probably be time to roast the potatoes, and halfway through their time in the oven i put the bread in, then when ribs are done in the smoker I can pull the bread throw the ribs in the oven and turn it off for a hot rest alongside the potatoes, make a bbq sauce while they're resting and start soaking the corn, after they've rested turn the oven to warm to keep the potatoes happy and sauce the ribs to finish on the grill, char the corn and finish the ribs real quick, then serve". It ends up filling my entire day with little tasks that i'm easily capable of doing but the coordination overhead makes it just enough of a challenge to be engaging for the entire day. and at the end of it i get to serve my partner a truly incredible meal (or some takeout if I fuck up, which happens from time to time). the whole day just zooms by. i'm focused, in the moment, and joyful.
